Y'all, I did something stupid. I volunteered to coordinate the new look book passing around-ness. Like dsrk used to do when she was back with us.
(By the way, Ignacio told me they hadn't heard from dsrk since last fall and they missed hearing from her! If you are reading this dsrk, then we say hello!!) Here is what he said, gulp! "Today we talked about the leathers it will include, it will be divided by sections: spring/summer (current leathers), classics, new/limited editions. We’ll prepare this new catalog, and send it out to you then. Last time there were two going around, if you feel like two might be better, let me know and we’ll send a second one as well." I think having two look books is a good idea since we have ladies in Australia, Asia, and Europe, not to mention South America!! Let's form a lookbook committee by virtue of discussing it on this thread. How do we want this to work?? Do we want one lookbook for North America and one to go around the other parts of the world, or?? I like their categories, especially the "classics"!!!! Those are the ones I bet they get asked the most about. Let's get this going, ladies!! |

^^^ LOL. I think the key for the lookbook is for whomever is the first person to receive it, needs to photograph the leathers as soon as possible and post them in the leather swatches thread like we did last time.
Ignes' colors are so off, that for many people ordering there is no reference tool. Given the vast majority of us are in the US, I think two US books like last time (one east coast, one start west coast) and one overseas look book makes sense. |

So, there were three books? But Ignacio said two....I will ask him!
Yes, you are right. I'm not the best photographer but I will try when I get it, then we should have a good photographer be next on the list! |

I agree with the lookbooks being sent to the USA. I am not sure if I'm the only one in Australia but maybe a third lookbook (if available) can be sent to Europe.

If we do 2, one to the US and one International would be my best thought process. I think the issue w/ both in the US and then international is that the International gals will have to wait the longest.
My photos suck, so please don't send to me first. |

Isn't someone's something or another a professional photographer (I think it's NC?) *hint hint*
![]() My camera doesn't process colors that well, and I'm not getting a new one until end of June...so...NOT IT!

I think in europe there are not so many people, I adore having a lookbook, but dont know if it would be so convient for Ignes.
About the US, think maybe Lionlaw, Euridice and Ms Lizardo have done the best pics I recall ( sorry if I forget a great photographer). My pics sucks, my camera is not a good one , and I dont have sense for photography. What if we hade a thread with the lookbook pics from two or three people? in this way we could see the swatches pics from different cameras. I think it is going to be great, and so much accurate! I thank in advance for the volunteers! |

^ I think that is a nice idea. I really don't even have to see the look book this time around, b/c I am trying not to buy anything if possible... although there is a BE on Bonanzle that I am watching (I just need to stop looking at it).

Great idea, newbaglover!! The more pics the merrier. I think the one for U.S. then one international is a good idea, and we could vary it, like if no one in Europe at the moment needs it, that one can go back to the east coast, and also, the West Coast/Asia thing could work. Of course, we will also accommodate South America!
So, it wouldn't have to always be US/ROW, but we could be flexible to meet everyone's needs. I need to ask also if there will be SUEDE in the lookbook. |

yes, i think they should add the suede lining options , the suede exterior options, and if possible, the cloth lining options ( to see the colours)
