Euridice..if you want Ms. Liz to send it to me after she photographs, so I can describe them in detail and compare and contrast I will be more than happy to offer my services to all of you.

BTW..FWIW..I asked Maria to send me some swatches of four of the new leathers because of what is going on with the GIB.

Hey everyone! I'd like to add my name to the list but don't want to post it to the wrong one and look like I'm cutting in line. Could someone help me out? I don't know if geography matters....I'm in Ohio. TIA!

Just let me know what I need to do Euridice. I just got back from Savannah...and was WITHOUT internet due to a laptop snafu, for the whole 8 days. Hope I didn't miss anything (but I know did!)

This list is for the old lookbook with the new leathers added, whereas we will have a second set of the new leathers being sent to you for photographing then to put into circulation.

Hi all! May I ask where the lookbook is and whether it has made it's way through those that have their name on the list? I am seriously wanting a suede bag and want to see the colors IRL. Thanks!

I edited my name out of the current rotation. I won't be in the market for a new bag for a while.

I took myself out too, no more bags and SK and Ms. Liz did a good job of photographing the new swatches for us!

I love the purple and the olive! Do you know what leathers colors would compliment either of these? I wouldn't do an all suede bag - I would like the handles (and maybe the bottom) to be a tonal match if possible.

SillyKitty, I thought you said in a prior post that the purple does not really go with the other purple leathers. Is that so? What about doing a black trim? Is that too harsh? What about a gunmetal (if I am brave enough to go that bold in the contrast, which I am probably not).

Does aything look good with the olive?

I'm so boring. If Maria still has black suede, I may just get that.

You recall correctly. I was quite disappointed when I put the purple suede patch w the other purples I had, that it clashed w all of them, IMO.

I think it would be pretty w Gunmetal or Black, but it would be bold for sure.

I really like the Olive suede as well. I'm picky about my Olives, I think most are too muddy, but this one is not. Of the swatches I had, none seemed to compliment the Olive Suede particulary well.

Here it is w Taupe Patent

Here it is w 188 Green & Celery

I don't have the Olive Nappa though. Maybe Maria can take a pic of those two together for you? I also think an earth tone will work w Olive as well, maybe the Tan Suede, or Camel, or Lt. Whiskey?

I want the purple suede for my lining! Wish Ignes had that color is a soft suede! I love celery and olive, they look like they'd work together. Celery is incredible! Softer than tinted wine and tinted chocolate! And such a pretty shade! I am not a green person at all but I am smitten with celery!

Does wine suede go with tinted wine or earth red? That's a lovely color too. And how would black go with the purple? Would that be too harsh? SK, you take great pics too, btw!

And I got your swatches yesterday! I like the pebbled off white leather but the name escapes me now. But no more bags for me now! I am at my limit of 10 so unless I sell something, no more new bags! And right now, there's nothing I want to sell so this is it!

That Purple would look great w the Celery.... have you asked Maria if the Celery bag can be your prize, and if she can source purple interior suede? Maybe since the Celery is soooo light, you can use the exterior suede as lining? The Purple is thinner than the Olive or Wine.

I'm glad you share my Celery obsession....I couldn't believe how soft and supple it is

I do like Celery & Olive Suede together....but it's not a LOVE...

The Wine Suede is a bit mis-named, IMO. It has orangey undertones. It clashes w Tinted Wine I think

On the other hand I love Wine Suede w the Earth Red

Bad new is the Earth Red scratches very easily

ETA: Bear has grown up soooo fast!

I asked Maria but haven't heard back yet. She did find it amusing that I won though! I'll ask about the purple suede. It looks gorgeous!

I agree about celery/olive, not love. Tinted wine/wine suede, nah. Wine suede and earth red is pretty so it stinks that earth read scratches easily. Bummer.

Wouldn't an all wine suede mini emilia be lovely with just earth red braids? Just saying.... (no more bags for me!)
