Default Need Help On My Order: Quick, Fast and in a Hurry! Lol
So I just found out about the Ignes code which is ending on the 15th. I was fortunate to chat with Maria tonight about certain leather availabilities. I have narrowed my choices down a bit but would like you guys' input please since you all were so helpful before.

So my first bag was a Midi Sofia in Cognac. Loved the leather but the bag style was not quite for me. I remember wishing the Gabrielle was smaller so I could order it instead....and then of course a couple months later here comes Mini Gabrielle!

So now I am ready for my Mini Gabrielle. I wanted it in a dark green. I have a swatch (723) that is perfect. A very dark green, almost black with a sheen to it. But sadly it is no longer available. I also have another dark green swatch (188) but it is matte and not quite dark enough. I don't know if that is because I am comparing it to 723 or what. My other color choices are of course Cognac (132) or Whiskey (124). I know I'm all over the place right? Lol. Then there's a grey one they have featured on the website with two-tone handles that is pretty sweet imho.

I need some opinions....I will drive myself crazy and the coupon will expire while I'm still trying to decide, lol. Help!

And I forgot to mention, I'd like something that can be neutral that I can wear with most stuff. It can't be black cause I have more than enough black bags.

Hi Knas...

Hmm...well Cognac is really beautiful and I think tinted leathers suit the Mini G's if you want then soft and smooshy. Which Whiskey are you thinking? There used to be light, dark and plain ole, but not sure what's currenly in stock.

I'm not sure if 188 is still available. By looking through old posts it used to be called Forest Green. The current number they are using for Forest Green is 140. IMO it's quite blue. Here is a pic Maria sent me of Forest 140 w Olive.

What about Celery? I Celery

You might want to ask Maria if she has any new secret greens, I know she was trying to source some for GB & I.

Neutrals.... what about the new Earth Red? Or blues, Saffire or Tinted? Vintage Chocolate w Shine Beautiful Chocolate Vintage with Shine Mini Emilia is here! ? For greys, I really like the Ice Grey Ignes Leathers/Swatches (pics only)

So did I manage just to complicate things further?

Hmm, well let's see...

I already have an Olive bag that I think would keep me from carrying the celery. I don't really do blues....out of all my bags I don't own a single blue one (weird I know). I'm not sure why though as I have about 40 pair of blue jeans, lol.

The earth red did appeal to me but I know that those swatch pics are not always TTL. I'm not a big red person....most reds I can't carry. I liked it because it seemed to have brown undertones...has anyone seen a swatch in person?

Maria did email me a green last night she said she'd have to check with Ignacio about the name/number. She sent me a pic of a bag and then a pic of a swatch. One looked darker than the other so she needed to check if they were the same or two differnent ones.

Just looking at the ice grey, that is pretty nice! I like it!

Hmm...I don't remember the name for my whiskey swatch. I just know the number?

Yes, I am thoroughly confused now, lol.

I'm not sure if Ice Grey is available anymore (other than as trim)...thought that I saw someone saying that...but I'm spacey these days, so take my words as a grain of salt LOL

I think light grey 129 would be nice, but my issue with most of Ignes' greys are they pretty much all have a taupe-ish undertone (I like my grays with a bluer hue to them). I've found that every swatch of grey I've collected from Ignes has that taupe undertone. If that doesn't bother you, go for it!

And I know nothing about neutrals in a bag. LOL Although, since you did say that you loved the cognac leather, I say, why not? Go for it in the Mini-Gabby!!!

Maybe ask about greys available? I think that might work. Or, what about some taupe-ish leathers?

Euridie just receive swatches, so maybe she'll weigh in on Earth Red. Also, Maria will take and send pics when I caught her on chat and asked about leathers, so you may want to give that a shot.

Knas - I usually have the same reaction to blue bags...and I also have about 40 pairs of jeans! I think the problem is blue on blue with two blues that clash. Having said that, navy works well.

Anyway, I would suggest a metallic. They make great neutral bags if you get one that's not too blingy. The website shows a couple of different ones (Shimmer Charcoal and Warm Pewter) in the Sofia so I'm assuming the leather is soft and smooshy.

I have a mini Sofia in ice grey and I love it. Grey is a wonderful neutral and it is something that seems to work across the four seasons. If the ice grey color isn't available, maybe look into the light grey color. Good luck with your decision!

I have an order in for a mini gabby in tinted chocolate and the braid will be tinted chocolate and gold with streaks. I was looking at the swatches on the website though and though the pearlized charcoal and shimmer charcoal would be good together (assuming you like a two tone braid). Would either of those work for you?

Thanks for all your input guys. Unfortunately I had a major househould issue last night. I'm hoping to get a quote today so that I know if I can still swing this bag or not. But I'll just have to wait and see. If I miss out on the sale I'll just have to wait until later.

^^ Bummer! If it helps, if you're just doing a straight Mini-Gabby with no suede, it'd be 234 at the sale price + $15 shipping. You'll still have a 20% coupon if you don't order by the 15th, but you're talking about an almost $50 price difference ($288 without shipping). HTH and I hope everything turns out OK!

Well I'm going to stay positive....

I think I've narrowed it down to Dark Purple (irainei, the more I look at yours the more I love it!) and Cognac. I don't have any other bags in these two colors. Now to make a final decision!

The Dark Purple is really beautiful, but quite structured. I'm not sure your preference in bags, structured vs. unstructured, but the Cognac and Dark Purple are completely different textures.
