Nah, I don't really do purple unless it's a dark purple. Ok, so my household issue wasn't as big of a debacle as I thought. It's been fixed and I can proceed with my order if I can ever figure out a color...

So what are my squishy leather options? I have a swatch of pearlized charcoal which I really like but I already have both a great black shoulder bag and satchel so I don't need anymore black bags. There's still cognac... I really like the light grey but I know I'll be too afraid to carry it.

Maria says I can finalize my order today and decide on the leather next week....I may do that. Gosh, this is so hard....I guess that's what happens when you show up late for the party, lol.

Well unfortunately things just keep popping up...I am not going to be able to place my order before the coupon expires. So I'll just wait until I'm better prepared for the next sale. Thank you to everyone for your input.

I didn't realize there was a list, where do I sign up? And thanks for letting me know!

So I think my Mini G may not be as far off as I thought so I am still gonna try and decide on my leather. I started thinking....what if I did a two-tone bag that could work for both warm and cool? Dooney has this satchel style I really like that is black with dark vachetta handles and strap....very close to the cognac color.

What if I did black with Cognac in the braided strap? I thought about doing green but I think that might not always work for me. Hmmm, black with cognac/black strap could be nice I think. Or maybe Cognac with black/cognac strap? Actually, I'm really diggin the thought of the black with cognac strap and also cognac bottom like irainei's "eggplant" bag.

What do you guys thinK?

I'll be honest. I don't like black and brown together. I tend to be conservative with two tone. I like two shades of purple together- like the royal and dark purple, black on black, etc. I think some two tone combinations don't turn out how people envision them either, so that is a risk too. Irainei's bag is an exception for me, b/c although the colors are different, I like it a lot. I like copying her leathers or what about black on black?

I know what you mean....the black brown combo is not for everyone. But I'll use this Dooney bag as an example because I like the combo on it a lot.

So that is the look I'm going for with the black/cognac Mini G. It can't be all black cause I already have a great black satchel and hobo. So it has to be different. You do make a good point though....since it's made to order I have to be sure I will like it.

My bargain radar just went off - did I miss a promo or something re the 20% off? BTW, as usual, maria was *wonderful* with my ripped Francis, and is making me a brand new Ormala instead....not a padded insert, but I can live without it. They are reinforcing it and using a more structured leather. Service is so unbelievable, and friendly!!

Siouxie - Sign up for the discount here http://www.ignesbags.com/purseblog/ . I'm glad you have a happy outcome in getting an Ormala. How big is the laptop you'll be carrying? My Ormala is smaller than I imagined. My 17" w a sleeve is a tight fit and leaves room for little else.

Back on topic - Knas - I personally don't do black/brown either, but I do admire the combo. I like the way it looks on the Dooney bag. I think Cognac would work well w the black since it's such a rich color. I'm personally a little gunshy w two toned, it's prob my Mini C that Elizat is refering to as "not as envisioned" lol.

^ Oh, not you specifically at all! There were a ton of color combos before the return policy changed that sounded great on paper (and most looked fine too) and then the people got them, but weren't sold on the look.

LOL Elizat, even if not specifically refering to my Mini C, you got it right. Definitely looked better in my head....
