Thank you! Yes, it is soft and I bet it will even get softer after some use. It isn't super smooth, because of the veiny leather, KWIM?

What do you think of your first Ignes?

Thank you, lionlaw. Feeling a bit better today, hopefully the pain will be gone in a couple of days.

I'm very happy with my first Ignes, despite the long wait. Love the leather smell, color and softness of the leather and it's such a lightweight bag.

I noticed some glue around the stitches and the color of the zipper cloth doesn't quite match the purple. It's more reddish than purple, IMO. The leather on top of both sides of the bag feels somewhat softer than on the rest of the bag, if you know what I mean? It's probably because of the strap change and they changed the strap drop after comments of tPFers on the drop measurement. Those parts of the bag must have been touched a lot while adjusting it, I guess.

But those are not big issues, I really do love the bag.

I am so glad you love it! yay! The zipper thing can be an issue, since they have way more leathers and don't have zippers to match. But, at least the zipper is not on the side with a weird contrasting color!!

Haha, you're right! A contrasting color could be fun though, it may be an idea for my next Ignes
