Default My first Ignes - Mini O - Reveal!
I hope I'm not breaking with accepted protocol by not posting preview pics first ... and by not posting pictures of the great packaging job ...

If you will all excuse the abruptness of this reveal ... without further ado, may I present my first Ignes ... Mini Ormala, dark grey (inspired by friend lionlaw), silver hardware, handles shortened to 7" drop, dark grey leather lining (inspired by duranie70).

The colour is not QUITE right in the pictures ... I had requested a graphite / pencil lead colour, and it is pretty much spot on. Thanks for letting me share!

And ... a comparison shot beside my 30 Ebene Birkin. MiniO is just a tad taller, and just a tad wider.

OHHHH it is beautiful! and the leather lining is great ( I must have this kind of lining in a bag for sure). Do you love it?
An great shot with birkin comparation ( I know both brands are not in the same league, but it is beautiful seeing them together!)

That's just gorgeous! Love the all leather purse (and am now convinced I do need a dark gray something)

Wow- what a lovely bag! The leather lining is wonderful.

What do you think of it?

I also like your family shot with your Hermes!

Thank you, newbaglover! I think I do love it!
I have a few different brands, but only one Birkin. I find MiniO and the Birkin both lovely in their own ways.

^^ oh, and I know some would be horrified that I put my bag down on the ground ... but I generally don't really baby my bags ... and it's a beautiful dry, sunny day.

Thanks, irainei! The Dark Grey (#052) is beautiful. It's not too stiff, but has some structure. I spend a couple of weeks handling the swatch before decided to commit to the purchase. Oh, and the friend referral at the beginning of April helped to push me over the edge. Was that really a whole month ago???

Thanks, elizat! I like it a lot! The leather is so smooth, and pliable ... there are a couple of leather marks, but I'm not too concerned. I don't think this will be my only Ignes ... but it may be for a while. It can be friends with the Birkin ... I think they will play well together.

I will have to try the suede lining at some point in time, but I'm very glad I went with the leather lining this time.
Thanks again for being my friend!

Congrats! Ormala is my favorite style of all Ignes collections. I'm in the process of ordering a mini ormala in raspberry. I am just waiting for Maria to confirm availability of the raspberry leather. All the ormala/mini ormala reveals make me feel excited about my possible order!
