Thanks, tejava! I think it's going to be a really versatile style for me, too! Good luck with your order ... and if it helps, the 4 weeks went by really quickly!

Thank you, No Cute! Preparing the pictures take long enough without taking time to post non-essential photos, too!

If you can all stand it, a few more photos ... trying to capture the colour as more true to life.
1. Dark Grey 052 - Pretty good match to the pencil lead, eh? 2. Indoors, no flash - under fluorescent lighting. 3. Back outdoors - in the shade. 4. Outdoors again. |

Thanks, tlloveshim! The rest of collection is very welcoming to the newest addition as well. They will have to sit together a bit closer to make room.

great pics of grey, and I think it has a little variegations, like raspberry leather, by your close ups! Gorrrgeous!

^^ Thanks again, nbl! I'm really pleased with the colour! I decided my first Ignes should be a colour that I've always wanted, but could never seem to find on the shelves when I wanted it.

This bag is just exquisite, and I love the leather interior. This is just a classic rendition of the style. And thanks so much for giving us a peak at your Birkin!!! I'm sure Birkin is making the new bag on the shelf feel right at home, lol!! Just fantastic!!

I love the color and the leather lining. Such a stunning bag! I had asked Ignacio about a dark grey previously but he sent a photo of a very different grey. This one is perfect!
Is it very heavy? I considered leather lining for my mini-O as well (still in production) but decided to go with suede for my first Ignes. You clearly made a great choice though! |

... I haven't had a chance to carry it just yet, but can't wait to get a really good feel for how the style will work out for me. After I placed the order, I deliberately tried not to think about it ... was afraid that I'd drive myself crazy otherwise. However, that said, it still didn't stop me from thinking ... "Hmmm, it's been about a week now ... now it's been just over two weeks ..." |

hipnycmom, congrats on your order! What colour will your Mini O be?
I really like this dark grey - it's the colour I had in my mind when I ordered my dark grey glossy BE MMS midi ... and while that is a lovely grey as well, it wasn't QUITE what I had been hoping for. This 052 from Ignes has more charcoal in it. I told Ignacio I was looking for graphite and this was his suggestion. Eventually I will want to try the Ignes suede lining, but at the time I ordered, the leather lining was the more "economical" way to go. (Does that make sense to anyone besides me?) I was pleasantly surprised, but I don't find the Mini O, even with the leather lining heavy at all. It's much lighter than my Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini - which is probably my heaviest bag. I was worried that the leather would feel stiff ... and couldn't quite understand the description "soft, but structured" ... but that is a very apt descripion. The leather is in no way stiff; it's slouchy, but not puddly soft either. Hope that helps, somewhat. Please excuse the long windedness of this post! |
