-tinted wine Chiara, with gold hardware, gold suede lining
-chocolate metallic sparkle Mini Ormala, with silver hardware, 'beige' stripe suede lining. -metallic gunmetal, with silver hardware, lilac suede lining. Ordered in mid August (around the 15th), shipped on the 12th September, received on 19th September. So around 5 weeks... Here is a link to some photos, only some photos of Chiara so far. My favourite bag out of the 3, sooo nice! Very light-weight despite being a big bag, but definately not as big as I imaged. Ignacio told me he would not recommend this for my laptop because it has a 'small opening', but I ordered it anyway and he is right! There was no way I could fit my mac book pro 15.4 inch. But I have back up plans when I made my order, I told him if it does not fit I will change my 2nd Chiara order to a Francis and he agreed right away. But now I am thinking, I love this bag so much, I will keep my 2nd Chiara order and just order another Francis for my laptop. More photos will be uploaded tomorrow, including details, modeling photos etc. Enjoy it~ http://www.flickr.com/photos/2066232...7607418934815/ |

Btw, I emailed Ignacio on Friday already about concerns of marks and cuts on the bags. He is great about it and offered for returns right away. I would like to show him the photos before posting it. So that way, when I do, I can also include his response at the same time, out of respect to him. So, the photos of mini Ormala and midi Sofia will come later.
But for short, my concern for the modification I have done on the mini Ormala became such a minor thing compared to my other dissatisfactions. I can not stand marks, scratches, and there were even little cuts...!!! It just drives me crazy no matter how beautiful the leathers are.Ignacio has great eyes for quality leather and the suede is top! The craftsmanship on the bags so far... could be better. Spent the weekend with parents and my little sister. (My parents thought I was a bit 'crazy' to take so many photos of the bags... I HAD to go around to different places to find best lighting and place for display etc. and I was suppose to spend time with them haha) My dad liked the Chiara bag the most, my mom kidnapped my mini Ormala, and my sister liked the midi Sofia... I need to get some sleep now, it is 2am here... Will report more tomorrow! Elaine |

It is beautiful. I think it is less structured than I thought it would be. I must have one! I think the scratches would come out with a bit of conditioner. I rather like the "patina" look on the hardware too, but that is a highly personal preference. Congrats and I can hardly wait for the new reveals!

OMG, your Chiara is GOREOUS!! This bag doesn't look nearly as big as I thought it would! Any chance for a modeling photo?
![]() I too prefer the 'patina' look to the hardware, but then I don't care for bright and shiny hardware. The scratches would bug me too, it's one thing to put them there yourself but quite another to have it arrive that way. Glad to hear Ignacio is taking care of ya there. Can't wait to see your other pics! Linda |

Thank you for the preview of photos to come, and your review of what has transpired so far. It's understandable that you want to have a resolution before posting about it here.
The Chiara looks beautiful. Such a depth of color, as you stated. I wonder about the "small opening". How big is it? Shame you can't fit your laptop, but sounds like you have a plan with the Francis. Actually, the one picture of the Mini Ormala looks great, too. Hope you get everything sorted out soon! After such a long wait, I am sure you want to get down to the business of enjoying them.

I remember seeing some posts on which leathers scratch the easiest. I know I just gave my mom a Botkier Sasha hobo in the army color. It scratches so easily. I scratched it somehow just handing it over to her. I conditioned it before she left, but I saw another scratch we somehow put on it just passing it back and forth. Maybe we should have a thread on which colors/textures scratch the easiest so if someone definitely dislikes scratches, they could avoid those leathers. Sometimes you don't even know if they will scratch easily until after you use it a bit. I have a Botkier Stevie in Persimmon. I love it, but it does scratch up easily. It is so soft and smooshy and gorgeous that I will just condition it more often to make up for it.

Hi, I left you a comment on your flickr page as well, this tinted wine chiara is TDF! I gasped when I saw the picture. So pretty.
I like the way you think, with plans for the 2nd Ormala, AND a Francis. ![]() It seems those little scratches would come out if you use something on them, but I'm no expert on that. Sorry to hear about the condition of the other bags, but hopefully Ignes will sort that out and you'll get some replacements. Thanks for these pics and for reporting on your new bags!

Sorry to hear that! I'm surprised it came like that as all three of my bags had come in pristine condition and packaged carefully.
Anyway, what modification to the Mini Ormala did you not like? I'm looking at it but I think it is pretty cute. I like the Chiara more than I thought I would! |

Congratulations, your wine Chiara is stunning!
I'm sorry to hear that your concerns with the other bags are a cause for disappointment, but it sounds like Ignes is right on top of it to make things right. Thanks for sharing your pictures and your experience. I can't wait to see your other bags!

Hi gang, just logged in from CA. Horrible flight with tons of delays, but I made it.
Honestly, I am not surprised there are scratches on the bags given the condition of the box. It seems like it ripped open in shipping and then was resealed? Were all three bags in their dust bags sealed in a harder fabric/carboard wrap with a ribbon tied around it? All of my bags have arrived this way and I would wonder what happened in shipping if yours did not. I am sure Ignacio will offer a full refund, but think it is a shame if the shipper did this. He may want to think of using a different international company. |
