So sorry to hear about your frustrations. I too am waiting for replies to 2 emails that I sent around the same time. I'm sure he is bombarded with work since he was away, but didn't he contact you during the time he was in NY? It seems like he could have arranged for return shipping from anywhere. Good luck!

Hang in there, eniale! Ignacio is way behind but he told me he should catch up today. I think since yours is a bigger problem, he may not have gotten a resolution yet. He may still be trying to figur eout how it happened! I can understand how you feel, though. Either way, the bags should go back to him....yeah, maybe he should have arranged the return so he could be examining them in person.

Hi: I totally emphathize with you on the damaged bags. We are in the same boat on the damaged bottoms and I haven't heard anything back yet either. I am trying to be positive, but I am impatient and think that if Ignacio can't handle the CS alone, they should hire someone. When I get emailed about a damaged bag, after waiting 7 weeks for it, but hear nothing else on it for almost a week, but others are getting emails on ordering info, etc., it pisses me off. I have 6 other ignes bags besides the chiara on order and have ordered 15 total. If I don't get a response soon, I am going to cancel all the outstanding orders and take the money elsewhere. I am sure this will piss people here off, but it is just what I feel. The seven week wait after payment should not have happened. My bag should have been inspected BEFORE it was dragged to the US and back. I should have received an email with solutions before now. So rant away! I am in the same boat and feeling pretty much the same now. |

I can't help but think that this will be resolved soon. He's taking steps to get the production delays on track, for one thing. I expect that Ignacio will resolve this weird problem, make it right for you and eniale, and in the future have a faster way of dealing with stuff. but honestly, I don't see anything wrong with shooting a pleasant but firm email wanting to know the status of things. He definitely should be keeping you posted and assured he is doing something. I wonder if Maria can do something to help?? Like go to New York instead of Ignacio in the future. |

ITA with Euridice.
Understanding on our part is for meeting the other party half-way; their efforts are required, too. Hope all gets sorted out soon! |

Ladies, I just finished packing and have a plane to catch early in the morning so I am off to bed. No news, but will update as soon as I can/get replies. I am testing photobucket so hope this photo works. (thanks to Kuwa!)
Just for fun- wanted to show you the capacity of Chiara and since Kkay (if I remember correctly) has used the water bottles... I have also update the Flickr page but will post more when I get back, sorry for the delay.EDITED-ahh I am terrible with computers so link didn't really work and image size too big for attachment... I have no time to figure it out now, so just going to add it on Flickr. Hopefully I will be able to manage this soon. |

Very cool pic. Thanks!
I got a response after I emailed and they are going to have to make a whole new bag for me, but will expedite it. ![]() I hate that they have to make a new bag, but there is no way to fix it. They have had several meetings to address delays and QC so I am confident it will all be straightened out. From what I understand, the modifications and suede linings are taking all the time so they are going to be implementing additional costs for modifications in the future. I have always been willing to pay more, so if it gets the bags to me sooner, charge away and delete the suede interior.

I'm relieved you heard back, and I was expecting they would expedite the bag. That's pretty much what he told me about the suede and modifications concerning the delays. But the QC issue....is it just rushing and screwing up because of the delays? Just wondering.

I understand how frustrating it must be to get bags with flaws after all the wait and also to wait for them indefinietly
IMO Ignes needs to streamline its processes , I think the challenge is trying to come up with a system where modifications are possible since thats their usp and appeal point for a lot of new customers but at the same time catering to every individual customer requirement will certainly lead to a lot of glitches as orders pile up and is not possible at their price range in the long run 1) they should probably have a list of modifications possible for each style of bag with costs attached and ppl pick and choose from that 2) they should have a online database of leathers presently available and keep updating it based on inventory , so that customers mail them only when extras are required I guess they must be working towards it |

Sorry for the lack of update, I just got back today. Good news is- I took the Chiara with me and I can make a report of it fully now.
I got an email later that night (Oct 1.) and it was the first time he apologised for all the wait and the faults in the bags. (His initial response were not very satisfactory for me as it felt he was looking for excuses and was not apologetic at all). But issues are being taken cared of now despite it is 2 weeks after I received my bags. I will be returning both the mini Ormala and the midi Sofia. I am still waiting for instructions of how to proceed. Thank you all for your supports in the mean time, you were all so kind and all the posts helped to cheer me up!! ![]() I've uploaded lots photos to photobuckets but still have not found a way to post it properly on the forum. What format and which URL link should I give? Files are all too big to be added as attachment and resizing all will be.... Anyone can advice on this?

glad you finally heard back. the length of time to remedy the situation is disturbing but I am sure it will work out in the end. Keep your chin up!

Yes, I too am wondering why it took that long, but I chalk it up to Ignacio being in NYC, I guess. Are you returning them to get them fixed, or just getting reimbursed? I hope you will get repaired/replaced bags and that you will be happy with them.
