How about Tinted Wine & Wine Suede? I wonder how Saffire & Tinted Blue would look together? |

SK, Irainei: you got me. I emailed Maria and asked for more pictures of the tinted wine/croc Luisa, and if possible, pictures on the wine suede.

I also like the newly designed Luisa.
I have the python (because of the lookbook project) and I think of it as kind of a lizard since it really doesn't seem like python. I like it when I think of it that way. I rather like the stamped croc! Kind of a wine-colored croc. Doesn't look real croc but looks nice, and I'm seeing this croc stamped stuff all over the place, like on shoes. It has a purple underside to it. |

Earth red is very distressed, like the royal purple, and is kind of a dark terracotta. Not really red.
I've snapped pics here in my office---I think I found an angle that is really almost true to life---and will upload them this evening. Saffire blue seems just like tinted blue but I don't have tinted blue in front of me right now. |

Well, since I am waiting for my mini-G in GIB 2, I figured I didn't want another blue bag. And I'm really taking the plunge on another Luisa because I just swooned over the tinted wine/croc, so that's what I going with. Haven't decided on the lining yet, though.
Also Maria sent me another picture of the side pleat, which is attached, and said this: "This is the side pleat is the one below, yet at the moment it’s about 7cm long and our idea is to make it (for any current/future Luisas) shorter, about 3.5cm. The effect would be the same." After seeing a close-up of these leathers, I caved. |

Wow...I like it even better in that up close pic! Caving is completely acceptable!
The side pleat looks good. Even more excited for mine now! |
