Yes, I am having a hard time envisioning it, too. I can't wait for them to get the new version done so we can see for sure!

Maria sent me pics of the newly redesigned Luisa.
I must say that I like it a lot, potentially even better than the original design. It's in Faux Croc & Tinted Wine ![]()

Wow, I really like this also. And in that combo! Is there any indication about how the sides will be handled - so that there is no excess material to "pouch" out?
I've been waiting for a new version, as I'm seriously thinking of getting another (if it's been redesigned). I'm thinking of a more casual version, but this version is TDF! |

SK: Just read in the other thread that you're adding a wristlet to the Luisa. Great idea. I had even played with my Ignes wriststrap with mine, and thought it would work great (although, not with the original design so much).
Is this your color combo? |

Hi Cathy....how are you holding up?
This is what Maria had to say about the sides "The middle part of the sides will also have a pleat so it doesn’t stick out" Hopefully that will work! I should have probably the first redesigned Luisa on tpf.... |

Oh...I'm glad you think the wristlet is a good idea! I was a little afraid it's too large and might look silly. But I like to travel as light as possible, so multitaking is essential!
I'm guessing that is the test Luisa for the new design. Mine will be Black Nappa on the pleated part, Black Ostrich on the T part. |

OT: the pleated sides should be perfect. I'm really thinking of jumping in with another combo, as I do still love the size and design of the purse, excluding the two "problems" - which now seem to be fixed. I think I need to take the plunge before the 35% runs out. I'm thinking of a more coordinated combo, like you're doing. Just a textural difference. Those pictures you posted though really have me thinking...... |

Luisa: I actually was thinking about a combo like yours, black and black, or purple and purple, colors that I can "match". Since my first Luisa was a "dressy" going-out one, I want another that could be more casual. Really knew I wanted one this weekend when I went to an outdoor festival. Realized then that the Luisa size would have been perfect, but mine was too dressy. So by casual, I don't mean no ostrich or croc, just not blingy or metallic. Then again, I keep looking at those pictures you posted from Maria. |

Ohhh...how about Dark Purple, Royal Purple?
![]() The Black 109 and Black Crinkle Patent look nice together as well, but Patent might be a bit blingy....

Before you mentioned ostrich, I had been thinking about the black crinkle patent. But ostrich or faux croc suits me better.
Has anyone seen the faux black phyton? |

If you're interested in the ostrich, you might want to contact Maria ASAP, they only had bits left when I ordered mine a while back ago (precanceling), that's why the T part is ostrich nad not the pleated as I would have prefered.
Here is faux Python pic Help me with my ormala! IMO the faux croc is a better faux.... |

Yep, I think you're right - the croc looks better. That wine/croc Luisa is calling me.

Ugh, thanks for posting the pics of the new 'n improved Luisa. Now I have gone back to wanting one ROFL. But I think I'll wait until someone has an IRL bag of this :)
Maybe purple patent with dark purple? Too shiny? Some combos I'd order off the bat with this... Forest Green/Ivory White Trim, Saffire Blue/Ice Grey Trim, Black/Charcoal with Streaks trim (oh wait, you said no metallic...LOL), Black/Wine Suede Trim, (remember, I'm a fan of two tone so my choices are probably not as conservative as most you would consider. LOL) |

Drat, why did you have to mention saffire blue?? And suede trim?? Ack! Too little time, too little time.
SK: what's the estimated time of arrival for your Luisa, version deux? |
