I think the logo leather swatch is a good branding idea, not necessary but a good branding idea for retail.
I prefer metal name plates. Pursehook with first purchase, a newbie benefit? |

Thanks so much for gettting to the bottom of this and posting Lionlaw!
I prefer the metal name plate, but the heat stamping is the second best choice. I never use the IG fob, comes off first thing. Same for the purse hook, never use it at all. P.S. I feel bad I was goofing about this last night...while I hate the leather label in my Sofia I would never want to make them think we (meaning I) am unappreciative. They are lovely people...I just got carried away....and it was all due to No Cutes influence...LOL |

Well, no plans to buy for a year, but I like the heat stamp or the interior leather label sewed in.
I don't care about purse hooks or hangtags. |

I think the hangtags are unnecessary.
On the label, I like the heat stamped option the best. |

Ya ya, blame me, Ms. L
. I'll own it. It's okay. ![]() I prefer heat stamp if the metal plate isn't an option. Sewn in sounds not as nice. |

The metal plates are my preference. They were not a cost issue, so I am sticking with the preference for the metal plates. I say, re-double the effort to work with the hardware supplier. I do think that they should limit the pursehooks. Give them free to returning customers who want them. Give them free to a new customer who wants one. Otherwise, you can buy one. I think this would have to save them some money, and then just put the money into dealing with the hardware people. I hate that Bulga label, personally but I am reacting to the scappiness about it not the idea of the label sewn in, I think. I don't mind them stamping Ignes inside the bag exactly as they do on all the outsides of the bags if they can't get the metal at some point and don't want to delay my bags. Just keep the same font and make sure it is straight and looks good for the branding's sake. |

I prefer the metal plate, no hanger (maybe one free with your first purchase), no IG tag, and no free wristlet! That should save some $$$
It is so great the Ignes is open to the opinions of us purse addicts! |

No IG hang tag, yes to metal plate or very large bold heatstamp, yes to purse hanger if you buy it not on sale... I don't think everyone gets the free wristlets? I love mine.. now when I do a walk, I bring it w/ me and use it for cosmetics in my handbags. I even bought 1 at full price.

Here's my preference as far as the nameplate/label goes:
1. Metal plate: This is really the best, IMHO, and I definitely strongly feel they should keep these. As far as cost goes, I'd be quite okay if they made the purse hooks non-standard, did away with the hangtags altogether, etc. (I do speak a bit selfishly because I did get a complimentary hook with my bag, even though it was with the sale!) If that still doesn't make the cost more viable for them, I'd be fine if they raised prices by around US$5-10, maybe. In terms of waiting time, I'd be okay with waiting a couple more weeks than the current turnaround time too. 2. Heatstamp directly onto the leather: It looks cleaner this way, if they kept the current shape of the trim (i.e. with the extra tab thingy at the bottom so the "IGNES" heatstamp doesn't look squished or anything). The key, though, would be that they keep the heatstamping consistent, sufficiently deep and properly aligned! It wouldn't do if the stamping was too light or noticeably crooked, etc... 3. Leather label stitched in (with heatstamped name): I'm not actually fond of the look of the Bulga label, as it looks too unfinished (loose edge, raw leather showing). If it must be a separate label, I'd prefer it to be more finished-looking, like in the attached pic (please forgive the awkward angle, it's a really small pouch!). The hangtag, especially in its current form, can definitely be done away with, IMHO, although it's cute to have a pseudo-swatch like that. As for the other extras, the purse hook and wristlet can easily be made optional at an additional cost, or complimentary only when paying full price (or using the 15% tPF discount, maybe), or with the former only as a first-time customer gift. They definitely don't need to keep giving purse hooks to return customers, I think! (I got the purse hook but no wristlet with the 35% friends sale, so it looks like they don't give the free wristlet at least with sale items any longer. I won't really need a second purse hook either with future purchases, and I'd be fine with paying a little extra if I do want one in another hardware colour to match other bags.) I definitely think it's great that they're still so open to our opinions! Definitely gives me the warm and fuzzies inside. Heh, off to email Maria now!
