Too small=clutch in my book. I am tall and chunky so too small looks freakishly small on me. I have a love-hate relationship with the josephine. Something about it just doesn't work for me. I adore the emilia, but how many do I need. Although royal purple might look awesome in the emilia. I also think the cherry red is screaming to be in an emilia, so I dont know. Maybe a mini-chiara? |

Do you have any idea which chocolate leather yours is? There have been so many similar colors, it's hard to figure out what things are. Can you tell if it's a structured leather or if it's a softer leather and reinforced? TIA

how about....a cherry red or cobalt sophia unreinfoirced, with the knasarae strap?? In other words, Ms. Lizardo's sophia sans studs!!
Put the cobalt with the cobalt suede...oh wait, this is a sale, you can't do the cobalt suede. boo! the mini chiara is adorable but it's smaller....that might be too small for you. Another chiara? you like your gray chiara but a squshier red one would be nice? I vote for a Ms. L sophoa for one of your choices, then an Ormala for another choice since you de-accessioned your beige and black O's recently! |

;ASFDJK;;LAFSD;JL SOMEONE STOP ME FROM ORDERING A TINTED CHOC EMILIA! Are the listed linings the only ones available? If so, I think I'm safe, because I'd prefer a purple lining (cloth or suede -- I think there's a suede?), and that's not on either list of linings. Phew! (I'm ignoring lilac as being too light...
)To whoever asked about #109 black, I actually had a swatch of this, and it's quite soft. I suppose it's not as soft as Mr. Puddles black (now I'm kinda curious about that!), but it seemed pretty soft to me. (I was primarily comparing it to the other black nappa, #008, though. #008 is smoother in texture and definitely structured, and may have been the one in lionlaw's black Ormala that's in the reference library.) #109 black is also slightly textured (small veins, but not actually pebbled), and I kind of had the impression that it might scratch easily. (I wasn't too hard with my scratch tests, though.) (Also, I take it I'm not the only one who didn't get an email on this? Huh, weird!) |

Argh! I want to get something but I still haven't heard when I am going to get my first order from last month. I really wanted to see their work first hand before ordering any more. What to do, what to do! *gnashes teeth*
What does Dusty Silver look like? I went through the swatch thread and didn't see one named "Dusty Silver"

I decided to order a royal purple mini-ormala with silver hardware, yellow lining. I am pretty undecided on the red and cobalt. May go cherry red emilia, but not sure if I want a huge red bag. I think I will sleep on these two colors because nothing is screaming make me yet. |

ITA - that Royal Purple leather looks amazing - I'm so tempted to get it in the Emelia or Chiara but I'm kinda holding out for the purple BE hobo I think so must keep to one bag here, but the makeup bags NBL posted about sounded interesting!

Stackfan, do you think this black would scratch easily? I want one of this leathers ofr a make up bag, but want a leather some kind of glossy, so it get splased with a little water the leather will reisist but would like the leather not be too prone to scratching.
So, maybe glossy ink is better for me than black? |

Yes, I think it might be prone to scratching a little easily. #109 is not a glossy leather, though, the swatch I had was pretty matte, especially in comparison to #008, which is smoother and has more of a sheen. I don't think #109 would be very water-resistant. Glossy ink might be better for your needs!
ETA: Have attached pics for your reference! The first pic shows what I mean when I say that #109 seems more matte in comparison to #008, which has more of a sheen. (Fluorescent lighting source was directly overhead, pic was taken at an angle to show the reflection.) The second pic shows the colour in comparison to #008 more (#008 is a more saturated black), and the last shows the texture of #109 (best close-up I could find; cropped from the second pic). Hope this helps!
