Hi it's my first proper post on this forum -i'm normally in BE or herems. i'm waiting on my sale order of Mini Emilia in Vintage Choc with Shine - and it was in sale - yay! i really wanted a slouchy brown hobo as believe it or not i didn't have one - and this one was such a good proce. maria emailed me saying they did have Vintage Choc in sale - at first she thought they had sold out.. in which case my second choice was doubl-tone brown.. but i'm happy with my choice now...

Hi PradaMe.... I placed my first Ignes order during the sale as well. I also ordered a brown bag. I was having a hard time choosing leathers, so I asked for some advice from this forum. The feedback I receive was that the Double Tone was somewhat structured and the Tinted Chocolate very slouchy and much loved here. So if you're looking for a very unstructured bag you might want to ask Maria if she would recomend the TC instead.

Does the 1st Time Buyer Incentive for TPF Member not apply when you take advantage of the 35% off sale? I'm sorry that this is late as I just confirmed with Maria of my order the third time around.

I am not the most knowledgeable Ignes posters, so I am sure some other ladies can clarify. If it helps, though, I ordered my first bag during the 35% off sale, and the TPF discount did not apply. Maria told me if I went with a leather not on sale, I could then use the discount.

They seem very generous and helpful with sales and TPF, in addition to great original prices, so it doesn't surprise me that for a small company, stacking several discounts is just not a possibility.

Hi Nagajolokia, dangerousjade, pradameinofgag, sillykitty welcome to Ignes subforum all :).

Nagajolokia, Ignes discount cannot be stacked, they are bags custom made, not the excedents of something already made that they have to sell to get rid of them to make place for the new collection. they also pay for the the customs. Ignes prices are quite low, adjusted, so they doesnt allow to stack, for example, for the small leather goods the discount doesnt apply, because they realized that if the were going to make discounts at some moments in time, in order to make some benefit, they will need to raise the prices, so Ignacio and Maria decided to keep low prices but not accept to use discounts for the small leather goods. for big bags they sometimes have discount, but not stackable.

Pradameinofgang, I think a miniemilia would be very beautiful in vintage choco with shine, it would be less slouchy than in tinted chocolate ( tinted choc just puddles like melted chocolate from the start) , but it would be slouchy, dont worry. double tone browns is not meant to be used to make a miniemilia as it is a structured leather, but vintage choc is a good choice.

NBL is quite correct. They don't stack discounts. In the past, would need to check now to see if it changed, the referral discount could be stacked. My dh got me a bag in April, and the bag a friend bought (100 referral to me) was used plus I still qualified for the complimentary Tango. It was quite a steal for me, tbh. So the referral discount may still be the one thing to be useable on any bag....would want to verify as times can change.

I think they have changed the referral discount, and you cant stack it anymore ( i asked like one month ago and wasnt allowed to stack the discount), but you can always ask.
