I don't think so, it looks like they just remove the studs around the front zip pocket, which are decorative. Do the studs do anything to reinforce or hold the front zip pocket (its seams or whatever inside the bag) in place?

I am really tired..but I wanted to land here because this sale is not going to help me stay on my ban. I sold a few of my overstock..but I swear I am not going to cave..no..I am not..especially since it is so confusing to me that I would probably order the wrong color..and be miserable..(she says as she keeps peeking at the Ignes site)..I'm more tempted by this than anything else..including another upcoming..Big Bang sale..nope..must be good...I have pockets galore..many purses..a kitchen to do..and I'm buying because I am cranky..and I keep looking at some of the reveals and get tempted all over again.

Now..I could make all kinds of really bad jokes about studs..adding and removing..but I won't (but I will think them, though..and smirk)


Hmmm..do you think that the perhaps the leather is from a rare animal that is born with a studded skin..and it costs extra to remove them but nothing to add them because it is a result of cross breeding with a bedazzle??? or a stud muffin???

Just a speculation on my part..can you tell I'm tired..and loopy.

Must stay away from Ignes for 5 more days..right? Talk me down Elizat..you are a staunch VOR..talk me down.

OK, I will waive the ban, but just for a make up case...or two. I have spoken with maria and they are going to sell make up cases, in two sizes, so I will have a beautiful set of two make up cases ( big and small) to take in my vacation. I think it is quite rational, no? so i will go outside the mindful thread ( REMEMBER we dont enable in this thread).

I'd pass. You have not really fully planned out what you want yet and if you order now, it won't be exactly as you planned. Plus, is the leather you want even on the sale- and I don't mean one that would be okay, but something that has grabbed you before. You are paring down, but have not liquidated other bags yet. I'd hold off. There will be another sale. And yes, you already have pockets, plus bags to start with.

well said, Ignes is abou getting exactly what you want. Figure that out first....there is always a discount for tpfers. And more sales to come!

I am running in here and jumping in with both feet... last night I was photograophing 2 much loved bags to put on an auction site cause the looks of the cost of Cobra and just living & an unemployment check do not seem to add up.

I keep holding my gerard darel and crying... then Ignes has this sale and I was JUST on the site looking at how much a millie is minus 35% off and how nice in cherry red and ummmm hummmm so nice, oh I can out it on my CC... and I logged off.

Yes, even though you CAN put in on a credit card, not a good idea at all- good for you for logging off.

Yes, I love love love my GD but it is a muddy color... but I love the pockets , the softness... crazy about the pockets. I wish Ignes bags had more pockets on the front/ back of the bags.

Duranie, Do you have an immediate need for the proceeds of the sale of the GD? If not, then don't sell it. It is not worth you crying over.

On buying a new bag, DO NOT under any circumstance charge it on your CC. CC purchases are for emergency needs. As great as this sale is, it does not qualify. There will be more sales, so be strong. Plus, don't you have a Mini-E on order? Just know that it is on your way to you soon and you will have a new bag to pet and admire.

seriously, I dont have credit cards, only debit cards, and I think it is better, you feel better if you buy a great bag withouth the angst of not knowing how are you paying for it.

and the 35% is tempting but you have to buy only what you would have buyed without the discount. think you will wait for your perfect bag, and the great 15% off fot tPFers always help!
