woo hoo!! that was a tough crisis, too! good for you! I say, just stay away from the BV store and the general environs, if possible. Carrying a bag you haven't carried before = a great mindful-inducing tactic!!
I don't think it would be such a terrible thing to get one item in the color you want if you would use it, but if you want to be banned in June, then, hey! you have loads of lovely items already!!!! yay for you!! ![]()

This is me NOT giving in to this summer sale.
Since the leathers and mods don't look they are available for what I had in mind, I am trying to stay firm and not order. "...but it was on sale" will not be my rationale this time around.

I may have to waiver. I'll be really disappointed in myself, since I am on a shopping ban for June. But, I am glad that I resisted BV this weekend. For the price of a small leather good (at 50% off no less), I can get a nice leather bag at Ignes!
And that Cherry Red is dreamy! I was thinking about getting that in the fall/ winter after a bag purge. |

I was tempted by tan suede but forbid myself since I'm in a bespoke and MUST behave. I'm also doing a little clearing which is hard to do but I'm making myself do it. Being mindful is not easy.

I'm tempted too. But, how pathetic am I if a month into my year long no buying zone I cave?
I don't need a bag- hell, nobody needs a bag. That is what pockets are for in theory- I could carry my ID, check card and essentials in a billfold clip like men do, in all honesty. So, no, I need nothing. |

Yes, pockets would work too, but they are not nearly as stylish. I blame my mother for all of this. She was and is very much the fashionista and passed that along to me (sometimes forcefully). When I was a teenager, we once went out and I did not have a bag and she thought it looked like I was not put together. She started this craze. I think I should send her what may be an upcoming Ignes bill. |

^^ No, you are doing good compared to me. I lasted what-- 8 hours? Every little bit helps.
I would be encouraging, but with the sale, every Ignes is under $300. You can't beat that price for these bags. I must have something cobalt I think, definitely double-tone, maybe red. |

^ Oh, you should send it to her- the joke factor would be priceless!
I know about the pockets... I really would like a mini Emilia or Emilia in cobalt w/o studs. I can't believe they are charging $20 to NOT put 8 studs on though. That can't be right, IMO. I should not buy anything at all, especially b/c two bags I have listed have not sold and w/ redoing the bathroom (larger expenses than usual lately). I love the cobalt though and did sell 5 bags in May. |

yeah the 20$ for no studs is funny,
I am tempted by the royal purple too , like the distressed look, maybe a gabrielle in it, it looked great in the josephine posted here, I can get another bag since the millie didnt work out but we have moved to Ny, right in the middle of manhattan which is like shopping paradise or .... waterloo ![]() so should I be saving up for some summer splurges here |

maybe the charge is to cover just doing something different from the norm. but yeah, you would think the charge would be to cover the cost of the extra hardware ADDED to something.

Phew, I think I'm safe from the sale! Tinted Choc is definitely tempting me, but my lining(s) of choice aren't on the list. (Purple, to be specific -- either cloth or suede, if there's a suede.) I'm not supposed to order my next Ignes bag(s) until much later in the year!
Eh, that $20 fee to remove studs is definitely weird. They're saving on the cost of the studs and on the additional effort/labour involved in putting them in. Does not compute. |

Do they have to do something more to the bag when they take the studs out?
