^^^I can return the one I got (suede and a more money than the, but they had lambskin and I wanted to stock up...lol). Ya, I can return it, I think. I'm a silly girl. I keep buying for sil and listing...lol. She's become my "excuse." Oops. I will return it next week, probably.

Continuing with selling and donating whatever I can. Decluttering is the key, and little extra cash in the pocket is nice too
![]() I sold a bag tonight and traded for a new one. Lovely Veronica Max in soft gold has a new purse-Mom, and I have a new Tano on the way. Teehee. That all counts as highly mindful, right

I need to wade around in this mindful thread during this part two sale business. So hard to resist a good sale! I'll have to see what the terms of sale are first.
I've got a couple of vacations in the next month coming up, plus a big $ trip later on. On the handbag front, I keep telling myself that I am going to hold out for a HG bag if I can stop buying others and just save to buy 1-2 really nice bags a year. I have a lot of bags now that I don't get to wear very often, and sometimes I just get in a groove and forget to change up. But I do need something in pebbled camel, so let's see how it all plays out. . . |

^^Good goal. Three was my goal this year. I may just try to wait for the January sale. I've been saying October, but it looks like I need to learn some self control, and it's not like I didn't get three bags already, trade for two more (which meant losing two also), and get FOUR as gifts. Certainly not short of fun.
I was talking to someone in PM about the psychological space bags take up. I tend to think in terms of storage and cost, but what psychological space am I really giving to them? |

NC - I so agree! Whenever I sell several bags not only do I feel like I have more room in my closet, but I have more breathing space! I have even boxed several bags up just to feel like I have more space!

Hoping Ignes has a January sale. I have decided to move my goal. But a good work bag on bay or Bon may be snagged without breaking the "purchase a purse" ban. I rationalize a work bag as necessary. Crazy purse math

Y'all, seriously, I am broke and need to recover and repair my broken finances. That is do-able, but why is Ignes having a part two to the sale?? I must have an ink blue Luisa. This business of leathers running low or giving out completely really gets to me, having been the victim of that in the past. But I still have not revealed all my most recent Ignes, much less worn them, and I have to cough up the balance for my orange hold me from BE.
Please, do not let me order anything in this sale! I simply can't. I could probably figure out a way to do it, but it wouldn't be good for my finance, I tell ya!! Seriously, why all the sales?? Well, I am happy with my handbag collection so I need to cling to that and not freak out over the ink blue. |

^ You don't need anything. Step way from the sale. There will be another one. What use is a handbag of any nature when you've no money to tote around inside, right?
Sometimes figuring out a way is great, but don't figure out a way to do this one, E. A bag is just a bag and it will go on sale at another time. If you miss out on a leather, another that is just as interesting will come up later on. This is said w/ lots of love for you too, not to be mean! ![]() I broke my ban of buying not until next year. I picked up a matte tan BE TME midi from the lovely TL... I have found that the TME midi is the perfect size and style for me. I honestly love the bag I have, which is rare. Easy access, goes with my work and casual clothes and the straps stay on fantastic. I have been watching the black one on ebay that keeps dropping in price and perhaps I'll think about that one as well if the bidding price is right at the end of the week. |

No, that's not mean, elizat. It's the truth that I already know and I was having some weakness so I appreciate the support. I had no intention of buying in this sale so I just am deciding that all over again. No sale!! Thanks, elizat!

Was flipping over the Elliott Lucca I love being on sale for 64...ugh! But my camera literally died as I was updating some pics and looking at the EL site (there is a code, but I will not enable and you must make the effort to contact me
). Today I also happened to sell my piccolo outright, got 100, which is exactly what I anticipated since it's immediate cash from the music store, and the instrument sells used for around 300. Consignment would have meant I would get about150, likely, but I'd have to wait. This way, it's out of the house and just in time for the new camera! Timing, oh the bitter timing ![]() HI ELIZAT!!! *waving madly* love the pics of the babies on the chat thread and congrats on the new favorite bag. That's great that you found what you love. |

I'm still having problems with the Luisa in ink blue thing. Can't do it, but I am surprised since I have totally resisted other sales. I'm not wanting to do fall bags right now, want to plan a little more. Quick, more people order Luisas so I can enjoy!

Oh my, I am feeling a tiny bit weak with the Camel in the sale. I have been thinking of a camel bag for over a year now, but haven't come across the right one. This is different, right, from the camel with gold shine from last year? That one might have had a touch more bling than I wanted, but my tastes are evolving . . .
I know I am going to get a bag soon, so why not get a sale bag? I have my eye on a few right now. I am so not adhering to the whole idea of this thread. What to do, what to do |

Crap, I definitely need to camp out here now that tinted chocolate is included in the sale again. Halp!
Pros: I don't have a brown bag yet. I've also been planning the tinted chocolate bag for awhile, and know exactly what I want. Cons: I started my bag collection around the start of the year, and it's already large enough that I'm not quite using all the bags I currently have. It stands at around 10 right now, but there'll still be a few more I intend to add to fill some gaps. But then again, the tinted chocolate is one of those bags to add/gaps to fill... ![]() Help! There'll be other sales, no? Or should I just go for the savings now rather than ordering it when there isn't a sale? |

I'm also trying to stick to my ban, because my handbag craze started in June of 2008. It has been a year and I have purchased over 30 handbags, I already lost count. I try not to have handbags shipped to Chile because I either lose the package or have to pay around 30% more in custom/brokerage fees. To me Ignes is the most convenient brand for me because they charge reasonable shipping rate and take care of custom duties. However, I already own 3 Ignes and I feel I have enough for the styles that I want from Ignes, so I could resist their sales easily. Besides, even though this handbag craze has not hurt me financially, but all these money could have been saved toward my son's educational funds you know? ![]() I'm also glad that I have a supportive husband. It bothers him that I take over his closet place for my handbags, but then he keeps giving me money to buy more handbags because he knows that's what makes me happy. |
