I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I don't know if you had said that before and I missed it, sorry if I overlooked that. |

MLA is out in CA between the holidays? That's really odd timing. I don't recall that happening before. Although I usually go to the regional MMLA (midwest), which was in Cleveland (not so fancy sounding as CA but a great city!!!) last time I attended and presented. (Been riding the pregnancy/complications/baby/mom's caregiver train since late 2003, so not much work being done or presented ) And I say again, WEIRD timing for MLA.Birthday bags!!! (My dear friend's dd will turn three on your bday, zuzu!) |

Zuzu Maxx, I totally cringed when I was reading along and saw my silly posts coming in right after the posts about your mom. Aaah! Anyway, my deepest sympathies and glad to hear you are doing well with it. |

12/27? Really? Wow, clearly I never go or I'd remember that. I'm probably thinking of the regional dates. Sorry so slow.
Apologies.

You're lucky you haven't been going to the main meeting, although I do enjoy them (I have been exhibiting, not attending or giving papers although I will be on a panel this time, ack! can't forget that). I didn't mean to imply you should have known that or anything!! Sorry!!

![]() Still say it's a weird time! And sorry to see Denver in January...ugh...dh's company sends them to Disney (on property) and then discourages bringing families How weird is that? Big ds and I went along once anyway, when he was three and had a ball!

Tano question for you, Euridice. Are blueberry, grape, and truffle only available this fall? Do they change the leathers each season so colors are gone? That will be sad if I miss out on one of the three...which will most certainly happen if they change with each season. Sigh.

Disney but no kids? Now that's ridiculous. Good for you that you went anyway! The American Library Association was just in Anaheim this summer. I thought it would be horrible but it wasn't so bad. Disney is great for families, but I have to say having a huge conference in Orlando right by Disney didn't work at all!! That was a few years ago. |

Oops, sorry. That's right, you're my Bliss Lau connection...lol.
And yes, totally having seasonal leather anxiety. This is a new experience for me, but I've truly never seen a purple so rich with blue tones...and a blue I actually LIKE, in leather (just doesn't happen and would be perfect with jeans). And the truffle, just the loveliest deep brown I've seen in any leather, though I need to explore the Lookbook one of these days. Maybe Ignes has a brown that would rock like that one. There are SO many variations possible with browns, and I own a bunch already (soon to add another ).Too bad tuition costs take a massive chunk of my pay each month. That's a lot of handbags. But growing brains take priority over my growing handbag addiction. |
