Wonderful choice Soccer Mom! I really like the look of the rolled handles! And a fabulous color choice!

Sweet fancy Moses! I'm away for a couple of days, and we start talking about crocodile nuggets and power-washing cats! I've missed y'all...

SoccorMom! You are so lucky! LindaP's bag is gorgeous, so we know we'll love it!

OK, my 5 & 7 yr. old boys are reading over my shoulder; will have to play catch-up at rest time!

LOL, Soccer Mom!

The hard part is over, and it won't be too long before you have your beautiful bag.

Hey, had to share...the bag karma last week...it's over, right? I had the worst bag week...the broken cranberry; my purple Target tote to get me to Ormala is starting to tear after four weeks of classes. Blah! Tuesday is order day....and I think delivery day for Euridice, am I right?

yay, order day for No Cute! Don't know when the delivery day is, but hopefully some time this week. Last I heard from Ignacio, it seemed most bags would come this week, so I'm hoping!!

I believe the bag karma has changed for the better. Perhaps just "offering" to sacrifice a bag made it better. Even the goddess wouldn't want us to harm a bag.

Welcome back Hiker Chick! We've missed you!

No Cute, was it that Ombre purple tote from Target? I love that color purple! Almost bought it to be my haul my stuff from work to home tote. Glad I didn't after what you said.

Euridice, I'm so excited for you and can't wait for the reveals. . . got that camera charged??

Yes, perhaps the sincere offers did it for the purse goddess.

This is the one that is ripping out (mine is purple):

Fastest bag destruction I've ever done . This is why I carry ugly publisher's marketing canvas totes...I get a pretty color and it's gone

That's not the one I was thinking about. I've seen that one. Too bad it couldn't even make it past a month.

I know, eh? The purple is great, and the pleather didn't feel horrible, so I went for it. Usually, my cheap bags go a lot longer. $23 is a lot for 10 carries for a tote. Very annoying.

I liked that style, I just thought it was too wide on the bottom for my height. But it was cute. You're right, it didn't feel all that bad either. I thought it was one of their better constructed bags. . . guess not!

Sorry to hear about the bag giving out. Target is sort of hit or miss with quality. I have a bag from over 5 years ago that I still have. It took a gift from a friend for me to put it down; she was tired of my Target bag!

I am sure your Ignes-to-be will serve you better.

Anyone else in awe of Matt's Water Test thread??

I don't dare comment there until he's finished. The thread is like a work of art all on it's own!!

I know. I had to comment after the car wash pics. It is the most awesome and disturbing torture to a purse I have ever seen. I even think he caused the Zebra bag to bald in a spot on front from the water pressure.

at this point, I think I lost track of the under riding purpose of this test, it's just been a lot of fun to read! Love the zebra hat with rainbow!! And I agree with kuwa that the thread is a work of art in itself.

The purpose was to see how a hair bag would hold up in the rain and which product protects it the best. My money is on Vectra, but Matt is being secretive today so we shall see tomorrow.
