Yes, it was Rebecca Minkoff stuff next to him. WOW those 2 ladies were glaring for sooo long, even my friend noticed. They could not believe we were giving Ignes so much attention. It looked like they could not understand what was going on.

Best was I was on line to gte a free massage and someone walked over and said, "Ohhhh an Ignes bag, are you with them or a fan?" LOL

I'm upset, I thought I took a pic w/ Francis. It was not on the table, you had to ask. That is my next bag. (But I have Gabrielle in cracked purple on order)

OOOH the new Millie has no feet, you have to request it.

Ignacio said if a bag is ugly, he will not make it.
His wife kissed me good bye... I don't think I hugged him... I'm a shy sort. I already looked at the pics of me modeling Gabby and am horrified- wow the chins, I am Jabba The Hut there..UGH too late to take off.

OK night night everyone!
oo what a bunch of haters! It is funny because Ignacio is so humble and complimentary of other designers such as RM and Belen Echandia. He knows about other brands and is HAPPY for them. Whenever I've mentioned I wasn't happy with so and so for whatever reason he says for instance how BE came out a long the same time he did and how he was happy they've come a long way. He really is such a genuine person!

Thanks again for such great pics and you are NOT jabba the hut!

Great reporting duranie70. I loved your photos of all the bags, Ignacio and his darling wife. You sound like you were as excited as I was when I met Carl Hiaasen six years ago.

Thanks Duranie!!! Great reporting! And so many pictures

Ignacio looked genuinely pleased to see you and be in the pictures. What an adorable couple.

I thought that was an RM bag next to the table in the first shot. How funny.

OK - question about the mini ormala.....in the picture comparing it with the regular sized ormala - is that raspberry?

OOhh thanks! That was a great thread to wake up to and have my morning coffee with! I am pretty sold on the Gabrielle after your modeling pic, you are the same height as me and now I get a much better feel for it!

Great thread! I love all your photos- the modeling ones too! I think you looked great with all the bags! I am really digging the Gaby now, esp. after seeing it on someone. The balloons looked great too. I'm glad you had a fun time!

Thanks everyone- yes the mini Ormala was raspberry. It is the one on the Ignes home page right now.
My fave was the Gabrielle while my friends fave was Carla- she is into messenger bags and loved that it could go cross body.
My 2nd fave was Francis and 3rd is Cecelia.
I keep looking at that pic cause honestly I think that looks the best "on" me. LOL
The cracked purple Gabrielle I am ordering will just have a 12" drop.

The Romy felt really good in the hand and I was crazy about the Luka.
I'm just not a clutch person. I told him if he incorporated wallet features into a Veronica, it would do well... that I would buy. I showed him my wallet and the credit card slots, told him to put cc slots on the back wall and another compartment w/ a zipper for change. That would be brilliant! He took notes from me. LOL

Your Gaby pic was so helpful! It didn't hang down as far as I thought it would with that drop size, still I think I will go for 13".

I also told Ignacio- more photos of the handbags on your site- front, back, inside.... he said he wanted to use models to show how the handbag falls.

Oh- Ignacio is still designing the hobo- I asked if there would be studs but he said no.
It seems he is doing away with studs- maybe it costs a lot. I did not see the Chiara there, no more Virginia..
