After I saw Rahmi's Tinted Wine Mini Emilia, I nearly injured myself getting in touch with Maria asap to order one. That is one hot bag!
I am getting one in Tinted Chocalate. Now I want to pick the lining. I want to do suede, and was thinking of doing one of the "splashed suede" options. I can't decide between the Rasberry Splashed, Chocolate Splashed and Gold Splashed. Rasberry is nice because it would be a nice pop of color against the brown exterior. Gold Splashed will probably look most beautiful and classy (though I have several bags with beige-tone suedes). Chocolate Splashed would be nice for long-term use as you don't have to baby it too much. But is that too much brown? Will I be able to see everything easily in my bag? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also, it looks to me that the splashed suedes would not be as soft and touchable as the regular suedes. This is probably okay, but not if it is rough to the touch. If anyone has this type of suede, please let me know your thoughts. |

I have a swatch of the silver splashed suede and it feels very much like a really dull nail file (yanno, a disposable one that has seen many many uses)...it's a very fine feeling, still soft and touchable, but with that dull nail file surface feeling to it.
I'd go with raspberry! |

I have some splashed suedes, They are not rough at all! Just a little less soft, but only because with the regular suede you dont feel the golden paticles, and with the splashed you can feel them, but the tiniest bit, nad not rough at all.
I think choc inside and outside the bag will be too much for me, o I would go with raspberry or beige. the beige will let you see your belongings inside better, and it is a gorgeous linig ( I have it in my midisofia in sivery blue). I dont have any on raspberry slpashed, but I have senn a sawtch and this option also will be gorgeous. If I had to decide I would get the raspberry ( but I already have the beige) |

I have chocolate splashed on my Luka, and it isn't as smooth and pettable, but it's still soft. And the visual appeal is so amazing that the loss of pettability isn't upsetting
. I think chocolate and raspberry is great. If you have bags in lots of browns, why not go wild with something like raspberry or even a sassy silver? |

that's chocolate splashed, no cute? lordy it's gorgeous!
I don't have these suedes. But I do have a tinted chocolate with raspberry suede, and I can testify that it is a gorgeous combination!! So, I have to vote raspberry. At first I thought you had splashed something on your suede lining and I was like oh no!! lol, thank heavens that was not the case! |

It has gold flecking in with the chocolate suede. It's my most beautiful lining, though Vanilla Virginia's navy is stunning with the sand leather....and the navy feels better than the red or raspberry or pink. (Hmmm...lots of pink tones...lol...a trend?)

I could not wait any longer. I just put in my order for a Tinted Chocolate Mini Emilia, no studs, Splashed-Raspberry with Gold flecks lining.
I own 3 Bottega Venetas, each with suede lining - one with beige lining, one with tan lining and one with red suede lining. I have a Goldenbleu clutch, a Nancy Gonzales clutch and a Burberry small purse each with beige suede lining. In my Ignes, I have blue suede and gold suede. If I did not have so much beige in my interiors, I would have gone with Splashed Gold. The Splashed Raspberry should be different in terms of color and texture. I am looking forward to it! Thanks Ladies! (Now I need to make space in my closet. Looks like Mom is getting a couple of bags this weekend). |

I have gold splashed in my salmon Luka. It's definitely not as soft as the non-splashed suedes. However, I don't find it unpleasant. There is still room for stroking!

Jane*Bond, I can believe that it was hard to restrain yourself to wait and ask questions on the forum, ha ha!! This sounds amazing. What color hardware?? I'm assuming brushed gold to go with the gold splashes?? |

I'm glad you got the splashed raspberry! I'd definitely recommend that, too. I've actually been thinking of an Emilia in Tinted Chocolate myself, and raspberry suede is definitely my top choice for the lining right now... Can't wait to see what your order looks like!
