Default Help with my travel bag
Guess what kiddies? My light whiskey is no longer available. They have a similar color but it is not as buttery , smooth, or veiny.

Now I am annoyed. I wanted he travel bag to match my Virginia.
Wanted the travel bag to be super light and soft. UGH.

What else is soft. My hubby does not like blue so tinted blue is out and he hates my tinted wine. It's a bag the 2 of us can use.

On Aug 27th she wrote "The very soft ones (and available!) would be: Light whisky, cognac, tinted chocolate, tinted navy, sunflower, celery, red (107, attached), caramel, black (109)... they all come from the same tannery (the one with tinted leathers)."

I am bummed right now... need to look at cognac, sunflower, and caramel pics.

Sorry, that sucks. I dont understand why she doesnt have better control on the inventory.

Cognac is definitely darker than the whiskey (see the peanut butter cup braids of my mini-emilia). Maybe the caramel de luce might be a close match? My mom took the mini-e so I can't compare it with my caramel salina.

Light might be the wrong way to go- I wnat to have this bag for like 20 years! LOL I am seriously thinking of light grey but... it will get so dorty. I imagine putting it on planes and floors of airline terminals while waiting in line, etc.
Black is just so boring. ugh. Gonna think on cognac and caramel for a bit.

What about vintage chocolate with shine or even distressed choco? it'll have that well worn look :)...otherwise I'd say caramel?

I'm thinking cognac with whiskey accents. I remember I did LOVE Lionlaws emily with the cognac and whiskey braid so I think the colors go really well together. Does that sound good? Maria was saying the bag has such character she did not think 2 colors would work. What do you all think?

Cognac looks very classic in the travel bag. I don't know about two tone, my Mini C has made me a little gunshy

What about Vintage Choco, Earth Red or Distresed Choco?

I think the tinted chocolate would be lovely, yet practical.

cognac seems dark, gorgeous, and practical. I think that's a good choice. Sorry you couldn't get your first pic.

I would also agree that tinted chocolate would be killer, if quite dark.

The TC is the softest squishiest Ignes leather I have. It's very dark, so it should wear well. What about Vintage Choc w Shine?

I went with tinted chocolate w/ beige striped suede lining, gold hardware.
Am now kicking myself that I sold my tinted chocolate gabby. Kicking real hard. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Ugh.

I guess I can be added to the Pain is the A _ _ for Ignes group- woke up and told Maria I do NOT want tinted brown. I hate brown, own nothing brown. So I said I would wait til she went to the tannery to view the "new"whiskey and if it would be good for the travel bag. I feel kinda bad but...ummm...I like whiskey bags. I ordered it what..Aug 27th, right? Need to look back but it was around that date.

I guess I should just go for black if the whiskey is not good. Sillykitty- how soft is the balck? Like the tinted brown and tinted wine?

Well, if you hate brown, don't order brown! I would wait for her to view the new leather, as long as she'll continue to owner the discount, esp. if it takes her some time to do it. Black would work or what about aubergine?
