So I'm considering picking up a bag from AsterAlice during the sale. I've been thinking I "need" a new blue bag
. Of the blue leathers that are on AsterAlice which one is the most versatile to wear with jean? Navy Glossy Ink Blue Electric Blue Cobalt Teal |

Definitely Navy :)
Glossy is a light metallic...but i'm biased in saying that it'd go well with jeans too because I wear it with everything LOL E Blue and Cobalt are bright blues Teal is actually a really muted blue-green

I would go with navy, it is a great one with jeans a all the year round bag. If you want something more summery I would choose cobalt, but for all year navy!

oh, and yes, navy for a year round choice. Ink blue for something that is a little more interesting, with the metallic...

I'm searching for a "jeans" blue too. I have swatches of cobalt, tinted blue, and glossy ink blue. None is my perfect blue. But I think glossy ink blue is closest for me. (The perfect jeans blue is the blue ostrich I got during the sample sale...wish they had more of it...everyone should have a bag this color!)

I love that glossy ink blue Ormala on there. |

I've been thinking about all of them!
I think I narrowed it down to the Navy Mini Sofia and the Glossy Ink Blue Ormala. But the Cobalt Mini Chiara some time slips back into consideration (although no one has said it is a blue jeans blue, and I haved a TC MC on order already) and then I'm considering the purple Mini Sofia in addition to a blue bag, just cause I like purple! So here are my two "finalists" and my thoughts on both. Glossy Ink Blue Ormala

As much as I love the glossy ink blue, what is the scratching issue? Is there one? My silver and gold Ignes leather are indestructible, or seem to be, but gunmetal scratches.
Anyone? I'd go with the one that will hold up to wear best. Are we talking Mini O or full sized O? |

Hmm... good question on the Glossy Ink Blue
It's a Mini O. |

I think I have some...let me go scratch it for you.
Update: I clawed at both swatched. A regular (not trying to destroy the leather) scratch lightened the finish a little. But it buffed out a little. The viscious, I'm going to destroy scratches did better on the tinted blue. Overall, I would feel okay with the glossy ink blue, but it is not as tough as the tinted blue. I love my Mini O. That's my vote. |

Thanks for the scratch test NC! I'm glad the GIB held up pretty well at least because I am determined to get something in that color soon!
I'm leaning toward the Navy.... The GIB seems to be so soft and slouchy that it should be in a Gabby or Mini Emilia. I'm dreaming of a Mini Emilia in GIB with a tricolored braid like Duranie's ![]() Everytime I think I made up my mind on the Navy I click on the Mini O and I'm undecided again ...it's just so pretty |

After receiving my Francis, I HAVE to vote for glossy ink blue. It is scrumptious!
