My IRL friend emailed and said she laughed at my pic. She promised...but at least Ignes understands the vision I had even though I suck at drawing, completely suck. It hurt my feelings she laughed.

ok, girls, keep voting... I have asked ignacio why they have not put even just one pic of my sefmade bag, I think they explain my bag better than the skecteches, but...
I must say I love our two designs better ( I find the Caroline and Tilly too huge for my usual bag size), but the four of them are pretty.
NoCute, I want a Trudy in ligth cognac! it is haunting me!

Oo, light cognac, yes. I see Emelia in purple (of course) and fuschia! But what really calls me is Emelia in pewter! Yup!

I think your sketch is great! I hate it when friends laugh at stuff you put your heart into. She probably doesn't "get" purses. I had a friend laugh at one of my sketches once and I know how it hurts

On another note, I'm a professional illustrator so please tell your friend that I thought your sketches were well done.

what is with friends these days? I think you're design rocks. It was my #1 vote. I would order it today. I have seen designer clutches in that envelope style and they totally rock.

And I don't see it as a good illustration (but thank you), but as one that gets the idea across sufficiently, which is a huge accomplishment in my nontalented history

I did them in pencil and then they didn't scan, so I had to go over them with black marker...sheesh...and we won't discuss the Koolaid stains either...so ya, laugh, but DON"T TELL me.

Ya, if she weren't so awesome in every other way and having a really bad week, I'd be pissed. Instead, just hurt. :(
