After what seems an eternity since the preview pics, my bags arrived today.
The camel leather is to die for. Just gorgeous. The black suede Veronica has suede a little rougher than some of the outer suedes I have in bags, but it looks gorgeous with the silver hardware. The ice grey ormala was a disappointment. The leather is like the royal purple- a dry wrinkly matte leather. The color is darker than I anticipated. However, in other areas of the bag, it is a creamier whiter color. Really inconsistent. The bottom of the bag is just pitiful. It is dark here so these are the best pics I can do (most are taken with flash, darker shots without): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I am almost wondering if they switched the ice grey? It was originally described as having a light sheen, with this pic:
http://forum.purseblog.com/attachmen...7&d=1249522817 But my bag is much darker and lacks the smoothness and slight sheen that this has. Or maybe it is the light. I am not going to raise it, but it just seems like a different leather. |

I really like the Veronica, it does look great w the silver hardware.
Hmm... that's interesting about the Ice Grey. I wonder if it is a different lot of the leather. It would seem like it's the type of leather that would be hard to duplicate with each batch. The Royal Purple def has a slight sheen, not a matte leather. How is the paint match? |

That's too bad, it had such potential to be a gorgeous bag. I think that leathers that are as disressed as this and the Royal Purple just don't suit added structure.

Hi NBL!! Haven't seen you around! No worries, in the scheme of things, it is just not important enough to get upset over. The condition of the bottom of the bag bothered me more than the color. I just got the bag yesterday but it looks pretty bad to me. But, I sort of except problems at this point which is why I am spending money elsewhere these days.
The camel is a gorgeous bag. My colors were off because it was so dark last night. Here are better pics (although it is overcast outside): ![]() ![]()

Isn't the camel the best LL? Love your Sofia and Veronica...I'm sorry you were not happy with your Mini-O....the leather is pretty though. Do you remember the handle drop on that one?

Gorgeous Sofia! I love the leather and the braided strap is beautiful! I'm sorry you're disappointed with the ice grey but the pink lining looks beautiful with it! Congrats on more pretty bags!

The camel and suede are really pretty bags- turned out great! But, the ormala, well, it looks wrinkled and the bottom is in bad shape. It looks kind of malformed. What are you going to do with that? I'm sorry it came that way.

The camel Sofia and suede Veronica are gorgeous, LL. I hope you're enjoying those! So sorry your Ormala turned out like that, though... Perhaps Ignes really needs to note that the wrinkly leathers like ice grey are not suited for structured styles that require reinforcement. That definitely doesn't look like a bag they should've sent out to a customer.

Very pretty bags. I love seeing your reveals. The camel leather looks yummy.
I understand your reluctance to raise the issue of the Ormala leather but the bottom is a disappointment. I would be unhappy with it and I am hardly the connoisseur that you are. |

Love the Sofia and the Veronica.
I think I would raise a stink about the bottom of the Ormala, but you have been through so much so I understand about being done with the hassles. So sorry that this order couldn't have gone off without a glitch. |
