I absolutely love the brick work in your kitchen and the island is lovely.

I'd like to add mine- when we moved into our house 12 years ago the kitchen area was divided into three rooms; kitchen, dining room and sun room. The kitchen had vinyl floors that were getting holes in it, the sun room had a tile floor, and the dining room had hardwood. I hated the old kitchen in the worst way, and finally got the chance to redo it. I acted as general contractor and designer and was quite pleased with the results. The cabinets are solid cherry, and there is a wine fridge on the other side next to the glass stove top. The window above the sink used to be in the sunroom, we tore down a wall next to it. Yes- the island is one complete granite slab, and yes- I actually installed the tumbled marble backsplash myself. I love this kitchen, but will be moving soon. Well, maybe I can design another for my new home.

I love the cabinet cherry color and the stained glass light fixture.
I love the contrast and the width of the wood in your wooden floors.

I love the cabinet handles and the darker cabinets make a big difference.
