Grands Fonds, I really really love your Dinnigan dress. I am glad to see somebody else here enjoys her pieces. I started collecting some (lace dress, skirt/top combo) but then they seemed to have pulled her line from most places in the States.

There's no way in heck I will photograph myself since I hate being the subject of a picture, and the pics I do have of myself carrying an Hermes bag show me in my usual black coats! But I'll put my 2 cents in w/ a few pictures I quickly took this morning. I just used my el cheapo Made in China mannequin, which is probably size -10, so the clothes fit poorly on it. Sorry for bad pic quality; it's overcast here and I don't have special photography lamps.

I really don't have a sense of style like the rest of the ladies here but these are a few combos I'm comfortable with.

I didn't bother with bottoms--too lazy! But here's a perennial favorite: white button-down shirt w/ denim blue Paddock scarf, scarf ring, and Barenia Evelyne PM/silver HW. I have the 2004 Annee de la Fantaisie charm hanging on the bag. I can wear this combo with jeans, khakis, or black slacks.

Another no-brainer! Just changed the scarf to one of my favorites, the red Turandot plisse. This scarf looks fantastic with honey/medium brown bags!

Charcoal gray ribbed turtleneck with black Early America cashmere/silk shawl and my slutty red Birkin 30 (Rouge Vif Chevre de Cor.) w/ silver HW.

I've always loved how Blue Jean looks against black and gray, so what I have here is a black leather 3/4 coat, the same gray turtleneck, black/white Bolduc Twilly, and Birkin 30 in BJ Clemence/Silver HW.

And last but not least is a black/gray shearling coat with the same white button-down shirt in previous pics, lavender Escales Mediterraneennes plisse scarf, and Miel croc porosus Kelly 28 sellier/silver HW. Not exactly crazy about the scarf choice, but that's what I pulled out of my drawer!

I forgot to say sorry that I "cheated" a bit by not modeling my outfits myself but I have a baby girl and haven't showered yet.

I look like a dishrag right now so off to the shower I go...
