patz, i love your toile - my next hermes will be one (i hope!!!) have you had any issues with the toile getting dirty or dye transfer? What do you do to preserve the crisp look, especially with your sweet sweet huge personality darling son?

D - i had issues with my other toile kelly (white with toile) and had some newspaper ink smeared on it (dont ask me how) and i had to send it out to manuela in BH. it came back looking clean and new.

i dont think there's anything you can put on it to prevent dirt transfer on it, you'll just have to be careful where you put it or what you're wearing. i'll normally wear a dress or white denim when i tote it. and baby's little sticky hands are def. hands off from my bag (even if his bottle is in it -

). HTH!
