Diamonds, smashing as always. What a great knot, I have recently purchased a 70 cm and would love to know how you tie this knot.

Thank you Suzie and liness92!

It's actually a very simple knot. I do the basic fold first so that the scarf is about 5-6 cm wide. I put the scarf around my neck so that the two ends are in front of me. I tie them securely together- like tying a shoelace - and then I pull the other end (this end can be a bit longer than the other one) over the knot (up towards my face over the knot and then back down) so that it will stay hidden underneath.. Very simple and no scarf ring needed!

^Thank you, I will give it a try, although I am very knot challenged and that is why I don't wear my scarves as much as I should!

You just need to start experimenting and finding what suits you the best! I was very shy in the beginning too- that's why I still mostly wear huge shawls that are very casual... However I try to learn from the ladies here and have started to "play" much more with my silk scarves and it's fun! You can create so many different styles and compliment an outfit in so many different ways. Good luck and I hope that you'll post some great action shots here soon!

Wearing my Chaines et Gourmettes vintage 70cm carré:

Love this so much Diamond S, especially how you have knotted it so I can see the lovely border that makes Chaines et Gourmettes really pop.

MaiTai, you are stunning as always in every single one of the pictures. Really enjoyed your blog and thanks again (I know that I have said that millions of times) for showing us the different styling options. Really like the light purple scarf you wore with your white T-shirt. May I have the name of that scarf if convenient?

880, thanks a lot for the instructions. It is amazing that similar techniques can produce dramatically different effects.

DiamondS, really like the cw of your CeG which goes perfectly with your blouse and everything else

Love your collage, MaiTai! Thanks for putting your 11 beautiful looks in one so we don't have to go back to the old thread to admire.

DiamondS, your simple knot is amazing. I am going to try with my Chaines et Gourmettes.

880, I'm so embarrassed now, LOL. The waterfall knot is actually much easier than my description. I just can't write clear instructions - wish I can show you in person and you help put them in words. You have a way with describing steps clearly. are you used to doing recipes for friends?
