Tried out my new Rythmes - thought I'd missed the boat with that design but the new H in Selfridges Manchester has nearly all the cws!! I'd love to buy another 2 cws but that would melt the cc too much esp with AW09 on the horizon Wearing it cowboy/with scarf ring/friendship knot.

Today I’m wearing my Peuple du Vent, GM cashmere/silk shawl that I bought the other day!
The colours are Marron fonce/Cerise/Vanille.
I’m also posting different pictures of this shawl in the threads AW2009 scarves and Ode to the Hermes Cashmere GM Shawls.

Thank you hermeschicuk
Manchester - It depends on what they have in stock - if they have what I want then I'll buy from either - I don't stick to just one H - I travel quite a bit in my free time to follow my love of the performing arts so I get to quite a lot of cities with H stores so it's nice to see what they all have. Pity about the poor £/€ rate at the moment - the UK is definitely the best place to buy.

Hi Ladies

May I thank you all for your contributions to American Theme day

bagmoma - beautiful pics

rose - that Liberty was the perfect choice!

ScarfAddict - exquisite pointu! Congratulations also on that glorious Rythmes!

DiamondS - what a very beautiful GM!

Van - Pluie d'Etincelles was an inspired choice! btw we are pochette twins!

Holsby - cute cowboy style! I also love your Peuple du Vent GM; it is absolutely the ideal colour for you

LinaFin - love that pochette on you

Hermeschicuk - what a stunning picture! You look amazing, crowned by that great smile!

I had a couple of H outings this weekend with visiting scarfies from the USA and Canada and some of the London crowd. Two carres and my first jersey came home...

Wow, zuzu, that much! I looked at it too and figured it wouldn't be cheap, but $670 - yikes. Just goes to show you that H. can be a great investment.

LOL! I can honestly say that this is the only scarf I would have spent that much on! My grandmother used to have that scarf and as a child I loved looking at all of the events that were happening on the mountain.

My grandparents home was burglarized in the 70's and all of our heirlooms that my Great-Great Grandparents brought from Portugal and much of my grandmother's bags, jewelry and scarves were taken so it has very sentimental value. I know that I will get one someday!!
