capulet - I love your wonderful and fresh outdoor picture! And your great smile! And the beautiful scarf you are wearing!

Vanmiracle - Thanks for your beautiful and artistic picture and the information on the dreamcatcher! I didn't know that - good to know, and something I could try!

Ms piggy, looking fab and sexy! Look at those arms!

How is the jersey carre in hot weather? Summer is sweltering here, so most of my scarves are waiting in their boxes for cooler temperatures.... however the jersey looks like it might fall away from the body a bit and be easier to wear even when the mercury rises...

Just to share a pic of my favourite carre fluid jersey Brides de Gala in taupe, worn as a top for date night with DH.

Rose - I love your "Please check in". It totally completes your gorgeous look. Too hot here to wear any silk scarves. I have very few neutral carres and need to work on that.

Van, thank you for all the info - am now fiddling with tops and mors and horn lol. I also saw your beautiful coaching carre - I love that also - and congrats on the 1 month mark.

Rose, love please check in on you. It is so elegant, modern and subtle!

Maedi, will be interested to hear how you like the jerseys when you try them in real life. I just find it easier to justify the price to myself if I can also use them as rtw lol. I always wear a cardigan or something to cover the arms and back when I am doing a scarf top. The mors ring enables you to create a top by clipping the diagonal ends around the back without doubling up the scarf - which provides more coverage too! (check out Mai tai's pics on mors ring with a mousseline; substitute a jersey and stretch it around your body and knot in back).

Thanks honey88!

I find the fluid jersey very easy wear to as a top for warmer weather and like you rightly pointed out, it does not cling to the body as much. And due to the "bigger" weaves of the silk, it appears "thinner" and also cooler to the touch. It has such an incredible soft drape and falls very nicely as a top. I highly recommend as a top for those cool summer evenings or even day time too!

Haven't visited this thread lately...too busy surviving life....but looking back at all the gorgeous pictures (eps. the MJ tribute--how did I miss that?!) has put a much needed smile on my face. No matter how busy and stressed I get I need to stop by here for the inspiration and company of amazingly fabulous, lovely women.

Thanks for making myheart smile ladies!!!

Thanks Van for the info (sorry for the late reply, the office firewall always prevent me from seeing your pics). What a lovely dream catcher made by DD.
