Capulet - gorgeous picture. You have stirred a little urge for a Venetian scarf in me - I saw one on the bay and let it pass. It was the one with the San Marcos horses in the middle - gorgeous.

Van - what an amazing video with Holsby's pictures. Both of you are so talented and have such an eye for beauty and composition. I was in my teens when Falco's Jeannie came out with all the controversy. Am originally from Germany but now living in the US. I love seeing the architecture in your photos.

Thanks to everyone for posting. I am now really interested in one of the new Jersey carres. Do they wear well?

Dear Holsby!
I'm always silently admiring the pictures you post! But this time I have to speak up! You look great! I've been doing Michael's signature look since ever!!!...I love it! Also the one with white unbuttoned shirt and white tee under! Thanks for this picture! mc

I was hesitant at first about the jerseys because they appeared to be flimsier than the twills or even GM c/s, but am pleasantly surprised to find them to be sturdy. (I wear them as tops and am not easy on my clothes). My GM c/s are more fragile to pulls etc. (Although I have heard opinions to the contrary - including my own SA who said that I might be "too rough" on things to consider jersey). There is a jersey that seems more transluscent and delicate than other BdG or CE - its a BdG in black with magenta details.

My Kelly Elastique in blue porcelaine is almost the same front and back, whereas by Brides de Gala in Taupe, being a lighter silkscreen, is standard - printed on front, transluscent/abit visible in design on the back side. And the white edging has remained fresh looking on both despite frequent use.

If you will not wear it as a top, I (this is only JMO) would not recommend jersey as much. Wrapped around the neck, the design sags and collapses and does not hold a knot because of the slippery nature of jersey and I find it too warm for a four season item.

Oh, it stretches and is quite forgiving on the figure.

Oh Van, love the pic here (you're so artistic!) and you look great! Sorry about the rained out. May I ask what's the blue and orange pieces at the front (hope it's not too inappropriate)?

I would also advocate the fluid jersey carres as tops as they wear really well that way, the drape and flow is amazing. IMO they make great tops for date nights/evening outs. So it could be used for summer time too.

And I agree with 880 they are not as fragile or snag as easily as they appear.

Ms Piggy, the blue and orange things on vans gorgeous scarf top are part of the design of reve de attrape. (they're ribbons - I believe)

Did you get the arcane pm? Here in NY, the pm denotes two center lines of silver (Hermes Monkey has a pic) and the GM denotes three center lines of silver. PM is very heavy and sadly made my arm look (more) chunky. :( But I adore it!)

Thanks sweetie for the scarf info. Duh me!!!

I'm still considering the Arcane, need to try out both the PM and GM. Hope it's not too heavy for me, for I love the look!

VickyB - thank you, I must think positive thoughts! You have the right attitude. And when it comes to our Hermès - there's hardly a new season when I don't think of just one that I will like to buy.

It is the scarf. blue and orange printed ribbons. Do you know what a indian dreamcatcher is? The Attrape tes reves is a H inspired dreamcatcher. The middle is the Exlibris and from there are hanging colored ribbons like 880 pointed out right
I will search for a dreamcatcher pic of mine. DD made me a new one for mothersday.

880 - thank you so much for the very thorough information on the jerseys. That is so good to know. I would probably not wear one as a top (due to insecurities and figure flaws :) but rather tie it around my neck. So your experience about it being a little slippery is much appreciated.
You look stunning in them. I am going to Germany in a week and will have the chance to try out the new designs - that's always so much better than ordering from Hermes.com. I am also intrigued by the 70 cm Please check in and the 90 cm La Femme...
Thanks again,
Maedi

FOUND IT! Here you are:

wiki: ...The Ojibwa believe that a dreamcatcher changes a person's dreams. According to Terri J. Andrews, "Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through . . . Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day."[4] Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper.
