It is hot & sticky today so I knotted a Hermes scarf to my bag. It is a vintage Feux de Route with turquoise and bright blue green. I love the wicker motif - very Springtime !

Do you start composing your outfit around the scarf you feel like wearing? I seem to do it the other way around, pulling out a half dozen scarves to see which I like best with what I'm wearing. Your method is a great deal more efficient, so I'll try that.

Haha, actually I'm not the best person to ask for any kind of fashion advice. Most of my clothes are pretty standard due to my previous work environment and the scarf does add a dash of zing,

and does brighten up my day. So, for those reasons, I usually dress around my scarf choice. I hope you are having as much fun with your scarves as I do with mine.

I'm with AirMess-- I pick out scarf first, then put together clothes to match it.

Today, fresh from the SCAD, making her debut in Texas is...Salt Marsh in aubergine and blue. TaDa!!! I'm wearing it with an ivory shirt, Loro Piana jeans, and a black tropical weight wool Zoran jacket.

In case you can't tell from the above, this week's scarf binge has left me a bit giddy. The SCAD scarf is the first one to arrive, and I'm starting to get antsy waiting for the others.

^^oh the perfect spring outfit!
I only have two H scarves and have not worn either yet. I don't wear scarves alot but these were too beautiful to pass up. I plan on putting them on my black 35 to make her look more spring-like!

Your entire outfit sounds lovely. I bet that SCAD scarf looks fabulous against the ivory shirt and gives the whole outfit that "special something". Don'tcha just love it????

Perhaps inspired by Tods' guessing game from yesterday or maybe just because it goes so well with jeans, I'm wearing my medium blue plisse Rives Fertiles today.
