Today I'm wearing a green plisse Rencontre Oceane to go with my black and dark coral-colored suit. That's 2 RO's worn back-to-back; the fish must really be calling to me right now.

Oh, gga, you're too kind.

It's really all because of the scarves. Without them, it's just one boring suit after another. At a banquet I attended last night, it was my scarf that got all the compliments, not the chartreuse suit or my new black chevre Kelly.

Shopmom, I'm so thrilled that you have that darlin' marine blue/toile Kelly. As much as it cheers me when I look at photos of it, it must really raise your spirits to look at it IRL!

Rose, I will admit that it's a bit more er, um, . . . daring than my usual safe color combinations. But all the bright leather accessories threads are encouraging me to mix up my colors a bit more. I guess you're never too old to try new things after all!

oh you would be surprised how versatile these scarves are. i wore one today (the one with the colored pencils... i don't even know the proper name

) as a headband, but twisted at the top, for that almost regal effect, and my hair back in a pony, and i wore that with.... OVERALLS!!!

and a very pretty cropped floral jacket with bracelet-length sleeves.
