I'd like to share some more Adirondacks images. We went to a great little museum on the history of this region in Elizabethtown, NY

Here is a fascinating sportsmen pouch. The netting, which is beautifully constructed, is used for hauling back fish from fishing trips.

dogbiskit You look great with your Cheval Surprise and the dress.

I recognized that I made a bad mistake in Prague. They had a full shelf of Cotton Scarfs in all sizes and I didn't buy one, because they were so stiff that I couldn't imagine to wear these like that. I guess you should wash the cottons before you wear them the first time? I asked the SA why they feel so uncomfortable but she wouldn't have an answer for me. Now that I see all your beautiful pics - all your scarfs don't even look near stiff
They are all so heavenly light on the pictures.

Mavsun it's being sold on the US and the EU Hermes websites.

MAITAI I tried and tried and this was final: I would need to have much less weight to wear this style proper.
70 La Source de la Vie carré failed - cause I can't close the scarf in the back even near.
You won't see it on the pic - but believe me.
90 Mediterranee carré hmm - don't breath and make the knot
I found the descrbtion of the style which you recommended in the 2002 Carré Book again.

margieb: The orange bolide is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your vacation pics!
dogbiskit: Your outfit is perfect for your CS scarf! I really do like the cotton scarves for summer!
VanM: Thank you for the twily knot instructions! I think you look great in your scarf tops!

gem and Kelly, thank you

Margie, your Luna and Bolide are looking lovely together.

Van, fabulous and well done! The Mediterranee looks great, I marvel on the way you have managed to make a proper neckline. I agree, it definitely helps to hold one's breath while tying the knot, there is not an awful lot of extra fabric left. That is also why I would not go anywhere near a 70 when attempting this look, the are way to small!

Vanmiracle, I have to agree. Perfect neckline.

MaiTai, I can hold my breath when I tie a 90x90 scarf. But then I would be so blue in the face, I won't be able to leave the house.

There is not a lovely bow tie left, when I do it either, mrssparkles!
Maybe it's worth to try again, with a very small, tight and mean little knot. To feel secure, throw a cardie or jacket (or shawl !!) on top.
One has to remember that the key for this look is to have one's back covered (at least for me).
Once you are in a restaurant, make sure to find a place where your back is facing the wall (a wall without a mirror that is) Then, take your cardie off -

Hey Girls,
you are too funny. I laughed tears when I raed this comments.
I am happy not to be alone.
I was really afraid to post the pics in the morning, but now I see - I'm not the only one who had the cardigan right behind to grab with one arm safe.

Greetings from the Adirondacks - where DH and I are NOT camping. Was too hot to wear a scarf so I let Belle (my Bolide) wear Luna Park
Oh, margieb, I love the color of your Bolide. This is the right color for summertime. And this is a good contrast to the color of your clothes.
