Today it's the Au Coeur de la Vie in the bleu dur colorway (worn with dark navy pantsuit and periwinkle top) which has surprisingly turned out to be my "go to" scarf from this season's new designs.

Blue Jeans, white shirt, sepia Belle du Mexique plisse, Louboutin wedges. I'm channeling Shopmom today.

Millstream, I carried my lovely indigo Bolide. I carried it yesterday and decided it worked well enough with today's outfit so I ended up with more of a monochromatic type of look.
Orchids, congratulations! I'm so glad that I could inspire (enable? LOL) a fellow scarfie. Aren't the blues in this one almost electric IRL? LOL--being near a store like I am doesn't necessarily help with the colorways--I only learned about this colorway through a friend of mine in another city as my local boutique didn't order it. They didn't order the blue colorway of the Giverny mousse either; thank goodness Rose and tods123 let us know about that beauty. Ain't the 'net wonderful?GF and s'mom, I tried to love that sepia Belles du Mexique as it looks so wonderful in all of your photos, but it has too much white for my complexion. But maybe in plisse like yours, GF, it just might work. . . Yeah, right, like I need yet another scarf from this season's collection.

^ Maggie - I HAD to do the plisse for the very reason you state - it was too much white with my complexion. The plisse solved that problem, beautifully!

MaggieD--as soon as you said the blues in your scarf reminded you of the blue LDP (one of my favorite scarves), I knew I had to see this one live--just stunning. You're right---the store I usually deal with didn't even order Passage a Tokyo!
Btw, gals, my SA told me today that there is a GM Mousseline in the Passage de Tokyo scarf--"reds and oranges" was the colorway she was telling me about. |
