It's those Hermes antique looking travel luggage/trunks. There is a photo of them on this page:

I saw them once IRL at Maxfield LA but I thought maybe it was for decoration only. Do they sell them at all H stores? How much do they normally run? My dad loves this kind of stuff.

NYC has a 50cm HAC in vache natural. It's not antique, but it is one of those leathers that really develops a patina with age.

KoP had a steamer trunk in vache natural as well. They had it for ages. I forgot to check if they still had it when I was there last week.
