VB, thank you for posting the detail shots I got my 70 out to contrast and compare, such fun! Only by looking at yours I realized that the stripey shapes (much more pronounced in yours than mine) are in fact horse covers This was another wonderful episode of Scarfcapades, thank you for all the joy you bring!!

Vicky, I became very interested in Coaching by your wonderful and well written description and the pictures as well! Since I’m looking for a GM shawl that would be appropriate for causal use, your posts on Coaching captured me. I’ve already got this pattern in a 70 cms vintage scarf that I love and use very often.
When “scarfing” at my H-store the other day to buy an another vintage scarf that I need - you know what I mean - there was GM Coaching in the c/w Chocolat/Violine/Rose buvard - I was very sure of that this c/w doesn’t suites me at all, but of curiosity I tried it on – and the colours were the right for me. The shawl was wonderful. ITA with you Vicky, that depending on how you fold it, different colours and patterns show. It’s very versatile and useful.
So dear Vicky, thank you for the inspiration! I feel very content with my purchase.
I will post some pictures in the Ode to GM Shawl-thread further on. The weather is very dull and grey, so the pictures have to wait for a brighter day.
