As I was drooling over w.y.h's vert olive barenia...
I cannot help but wonder, how do you guys like this color? I have seen vert olive birdie IRL, and it looks SO different depending on the light. Under the sun, it looks like military green, but in door, it has this brown undertone. And I went through pictures in the reference section, and it looks completely different on different skins.
vert olive owners, what is your verdict on this color?
xiaoxiao, I vert olive, and you're right about different tones on different leathers. I have one in epsom, I love her to bits! A shade of green with slight brown undertones...classic neutral! Seems to go with just about anything (I was pleasantly surprised)!
Vert olive is my brown bag. I cannot do browns so when black is too harsh I reach for the vert olive. You also have raisin so wondering if you will get enough diversity from vert olive. I think you could use a neutral rouge birkin before vert olive. I know it's v pretty but it's best to get something that fills a void. I say try a rouge first unless you just cannot hold yourself back from vert olive.
I will try before too long to take pictures--but I have vert Olive in barenia (birkin) and clemence (bolide). Totally different in the two leathers. More military/brown undertones in the barenia, by far!
