I had a beautiful baby girl in Sept. It has been a wonderful adjustment, I am in love and very, very busy with her!!!
So H_addict Pmed me the other day, so sweet, it kind of brought me back to type!. I know this sounds pathetic, but, I have been so tired generally since my second C-section and nursing, that I really don't have time to type...I am a rather slow typer. Anyhow, as I told H-addict, I have passed up many STUNNING exotic H bags in the last few months, I figure I should enjoy my new miel croc birkin..... blah, blah, blah, biddyblah, blah, blah......
First, I passed on a -
natural 30cm ostrich birkin,
a vert anis 30cm ostrich birkin,
then a 35cm cocoan croc porosus birkin,
rouge H matte croc kp,
Violet lizard KP,
Fuschia lizardKP(hardest for me), especially when the violet and fushia are next to eachother - I just want them to stare at for a collecion, but I cotrolled myself and it was really, really hard(said with my voice choking up)
non-exotic - 30 cm blue jean birkin, parchement birkin, blue brighton birkin, Oh ya forgot the croc matte havanne lindy offered, omg!
In the midst of this comes in the troika's - I tried the Kellys in 35cm blacktroika/black evercalf, brown troika /brown and passed on those lovlies cuz my drool would get them too wet all the time...no, really I was on the list for the troika HAC's,so I decided to wait. Also tried stunning black bolide troika, jigetoo.
SA told me not to expect a 35cm ostrich in fuschia, but a 30cm. O.K. I will wait...
By this time it is 2008 and the SA says he thinks that the troika Hacs are not coming in somehow...uugh, I was dissapointed and regretted not getting the brown 35cm troika kelly.
Now, I have been really good up until this point. Honestly, the stupid rarity factor always screws my mind up. I really need leather birkin's. After I got my croc birkin I said I would get more birkins in leather because when it snows, exotics quite frankly, suck. Then the weather just became crazy this winter and snow storm after snowstorm ,I realized that the troika's would not be the kind of bag I need in these winter conditions. Yes, I will call and order an etoupe birkin for the podium. So I call, and my SA says - I have one for you, just came today - how weird?! So I go back to H again( my weekly break from baby has been going to H, so pathetic really) and stare at both the fuschia and violet kp's versus the etoupe birkin. It was tough decision, but I took the etoupe birkin in togo 35cm ph hardware. AND I AM THRILLED WITH HER beyond!!!!I walked right out of H, into the snow storm - I patted myself on the back for turning down the extremely gorgeous exotics

Oh yes while I keep going back and forth each week, I have bought the lotus cadena in gold and silver, the hippo in silver, the ship in silver and another horse carousel in silver...I then returned them all
......... only to keep the silver carousel. After I had them all in front of me, I played with the charms and my bags and began to dislike each and every one of them slowly, but surely. I just thought they were taking away from my bags somehow...just a personal decision for me - lately,with my indecision, that could change next week?!.
So 2 weeks ago I walked in to H again and there on the shelf is this bag that caused me "insta sweat" cuz I was like, "what the hell is THAT on the shelf for???" - A 30cm barenia and toile birkin, palladium hardware. OH I HAD to have it. I bought her and am in LOVE. Perfect for the country in summer! love, love, love her.
O.K - so way back in the summer I was informed of what was coming in and put myself on the list for 3 lizard 25cm birkins.In lizard . This was before I got the croc birkin in sept. and before the winter came, so I was really into exotics then. When I recieved the call last week for one of them,the etrusque lizard, I said to my sa " I am waiting for the Ombre, put it on the shelf"...fine.
Yesterday he called and said" ooh, you arrrr not going to like meee(in french accent). "Why, why?" I said..."I recieved the troika Hacs" he said. ...sigh, I said " I just got over the whole troika thing!and I bought the damn "thunder shearling" bag in LV for this damn weather!!" - he said "you made a ggggrrrrrraaaave meeeestake then, - see you laterrrrr". ( Btw, SA said that there will be a new color in troika, blue or something, very particular) Anyhow I said I would come in.
Soooo...today I walk in and on the counter is something that made me wwwwwiiiiinnnnccce with regret. It was on the counter when I walked in, next to the cash register, not the shelf - the most STUNNING LIZARD BAG I HAVE EVER SEEN! OH MY G-D THE ETRUSQUE Lizard is TOO DIE FOR!!! SO much more beautiful IN REAL LIFE than in pictures - If I had EVER seen this in real life before I answered my SA on the phone, I would NEVER EVER EVER have let it go. Truly sublime. Archangels pics are NOT NEARLY as stunning as her REAL bag in REAL life - OH MY G_D!!!!WHAT a difference from reality. So this girl around my age is trying on some clic-clacs - "I say, OMG!" My SA see's my face and says " No , star, your miel croc is too close in color to etrusque lizard" I say " eh-Ya" - having just given up on it entirely cuz I rationaliuzed that I was not into exotics anymore remember? So in that instant I said " it is the most beautiful lizard bag I have ever seen, but it is small". Anyhow, this girl overhears me, looks at me and says - " it is rather small, right?" - I replied, very genuinely, - for you it is small(she was like 5"10), "you cannot wear it with a coat on" I said. -
"Your so smart!" she said. I said - "Look, it looks good on me(I am 5"3)" - I said this in all honesty
- I thought it looked too small on her
, but it is an unbelievable bag. Anyhow, she tells SA to hold it for her...uuugh. She says " I like agonizing over it overnight".
WHY DID I LET IT GO BEFORE SEEING IT?!!!, why did I not see it first?!!
She leaves Hermes. SA starts to laugh at me and imitates me. He repeats what I said to her in a french accent - " LOOOOK, eet loooks good on me!, not youuuu!!! - Shame, shame on you STARRR!!!" he said, you only want it because she has it now. I said - ... " I know".
Anyhow " we are getting new colors, a new pink "- razzy or rossy he said, in lizard don't worry, we will find you a bag." WWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA haaanh ha haaaa aaa aa whaaa, whaaa, whaaa, Whaa, - but I want THAT ONNNNNEEEEE. why? WHY? WHY???? I SO REGRET MY EXOTIC BANNNNNNNNnnnnnnn....ggrrrrrr.
If she does not get it by the way, IT IS MINE, muahahaha

Let's chant - it is too small for her, it is too small for her. * She did not know that lizard ONLY comes in 25cm, she did not know sizes, that it is hand made - Nothing!!! I DESERVE THIS BAG!!!! WWWWWWHHHAAAAAAA!!! NOW I AM GETTING AGGRAVATED AGAINNNNNNNN!!!
I saw both Hac's and passed, too focused on lizard again...waiting for ombre.
So that is my story, I will keep you updated. My DH and son are in the Bahamas for a couple of days, that means I have time to post, so I will be back!!
