I realize that because here sometimes they go to the store room and show me a couple of Birkins to see the size and color. That's how I got to see some like the 25cm lizard and a couple of JPGs (one was in a combination of denim and smooth brown leather).

Gosh, then...I won't ask about the "inside" of Hermes.
Doesn't sound very positive. But, you're right on target about the special feeling you get when you're "in" their private circle.

Welcome birkin-addict! I definitely welcome all your Hermes knowledge!

My question: Maybe this has been answered before, but can Togo be reconditioned? or can only Box be reconditioned?

Thank in advance

Yes, that JPG should have been dark denim + Barenia combo! I was crazy about it so bought it last summer but finally sold it as I do not like Shoulder Birkin. Lizard is great but they only go up to 30 and I am way too tall for such a tiny size.

Well, of course box is the leather that is the easiest for reconditioning but for TOGO they would say they are refurbishing it which means that of course scratches and used cornes will not disappear but all dirt and stains will. The worst for refurbishing is white Taurillon. But TOGO is so resistant you would need the refurbishing probably once every three to four years of course if you are not playing football with your Birkin.

Usually Hermes says that they increase the prices between 2 and 3% every six months.
