Twinkie does NOT think you guys abandoned her! And I am sure she will LOVE a brother to play with. She is SO playful and has so much energy!

One word of advice - buy her regular tennis balls and NOT doggie (squeaky) tennis balls. LMAO!

We play frisbee outside and tennis ball inside. I didn't think that all the way through.

I also didn't think the pool thing all the way through. Wet dog in tha HOUSE! LOL! But I have tile floors and she is SO good about letting me dry her off. Small price to pay for a happy (and cooled off) doggie.

Candace I will see if I can put some books together for you. I don't know what you've already read, but I am sure someone there will be able to read them...hopefully we'll get lucky and you will like them! I'll see what I still have around the house. Most are hardbacks because I just can't wait for paperback when it's Dean Koontz. And then I got a Kindle a year or two ago so everything since then is on that. But I am sure I have more than will fit in the flat rate boxes.

Since he got back, DH has been sending books through Operation Paperback
http://www.operationpaperback.org/
It's pretty awesome!

A-T-G - is the King Tut thing in SF the same show that was at LACMA a couple of years ago? I went to that with some of my Egypt nut buddies. I was also psyched that I was going to visit BH Hermes - but got food poisoning and became ill on the flight down. Had to stay in the hotel room the first two days while everyone else was sightseeing, but was able to get to the exhibit on the third day. You should join ARCE if you aren't already a member - they have all kinds of interesting talks.

Candace Update:

The Army has now blocked tPF so if anyone was PMing her or anything, she won't get them.

What a BUMMER!

If you want to post in here or PM me, I will email her posts from this thread.
