Thanks for the pics gigi. I love this bag! I like the blue, potiron and white. Although I think I'll be so scared that the white gets dirty. When my bag arrives, if it ever does, I'll wear it all the time.

lease don't throw tomatoes at me but...i don't think it is tacky or disrespectful to put stickers on the birkin or put it on the metro floor....those ladies are very very very very rich and so they haven't the same mentality we 'poors' have....they use their birkin as any bag, instead for us a birkin is like a child or a lover, and it would be so for me too!!

Don't worry Divina, this is a forum! We all have our opinions & it's great to hear from different perspectives!

Well, she could be really rich but I half suspect that Ms Jane probably didn't have to pay for her Birkin at all!

p.s. My thread is gone. I'd prefer to be a "little voice" in PF to share whatever little I know about Hermes!

La Vanguardia, White Birkins are truly divine!

I'm also very scared of getting white leather bags as they will usually turn yellow over time & would be a pain to keep clean :worried: A girlfriend of mine has a white Kelly but she's so paranoid about keeping it pristine that she ends up not using it often!

Have you ordered a Birkin or Kelly??

Besides, didn't Kate Moss use her white Birkin as a diaper bag when her daughter was a baby? So it must be able to take some punishment!

At first I wanted a potiron but the SA said they're more difficult to get. So, I ordered a 30 cm Birkin - gold color in clemence/togo/chevre (whichever comes first) with palladium hardware. Also, my SA said, if I really like a potiron, then I have to check again in June because in July the manager goes to Paris to make the special orders.

Dreaming of croc Hermes bags is something that a true bag addict would do! Hermes ostrich bags are just as drop dead gorgeous! I once saw a vert anis ostrich Kelly when I attended an Hermes event...I couldn't stop drooling!!!
