yes people with hermes, definitely ride the subway. I have seen it a couple of time, my mom does it as well. Its a faster way to get around in NY especially during rush hour traffic you could stand on one block for half an hour.

I ride the subways once in a while and I only see birkins on people would assume they bought it from CHINA TOWN.

But really if I had one probably for the first few times I carry it would be for special occassion. I guess I'm a country bumpkin. I would tresure something I bought for $12000 or less. But then you see people wearng expensive diamonds on the subway too!
