rochasgirl, I was under the impression that we could all come here and give our opinions about anything concerning Hermes bags and that includes commenting about celebrities who carry them. It IS surprising to me that Lil Kim would carry such an elegant bag because she has always been about wearing flashy, logo-drenched designer goods, not something as classy and as understated as a birkin.

i've posted a picture of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy with her birkins. she also owns a kelly bag in black calf. If anyone is looking to buy a 40cm just look at her because the bag doesnt swallow her. I want to say she is about 5'10. I hope this helps.

You are right rusticrouge, the bag doesn't swallow her. In fact it looks great. UNfortunately I could never get that size I don't think. I'm 4'11.

I really did admire her style. And I loved how she let JFK Jr. know that she was NOT going to sweat him. Such a strong, independent woman!

if you ever get a sz like that nathansgirl, just think of ashley olsen. the bga is bigger than her. she can fit her other half on that bag. hehe. im 5'2 so we are in the same predicament. the 40cm is way to big for us short shirts. 35cm is enough.

I loved her style. Can't think of anyone like her now.

Her bags were Great! I love all of the space in a 40cm.
