Special order

Hello ladies and gentlemen:

Can anyone enlighten me on how one can put in special order (not just bags, but things that have not been made by H before); what the requirements?
Is it necessary to do this in Paris (I've heard only France, Japan, Taiwan and Germany can take such orders)?

^^ SO is usually done by invitation by a SM or SA. It has to get approved my Hermes. Once approved be prepared to wait up to 2 yrs. More for an exotic. It is not easy getting an SO. I only know of a few things that you can SO (purses, saddles, whips,...) not sure about anything else.

There are alot of threads talking about SO. Try and do a search in the H forum to find them. Hope this helps.
