re. shifter, i suspect that her dh would rather she carry whatever she want then have her make demands of directions that they take their company just to suit her fashion sense. should the ceo's secretary, who gets her paycheck from the company, also show her loyalty in her purse choices? business is business, and personal style is personal style. she isn't a spokesperson for the company and her image reaches an extremely tiny % of the company's target audience, so there is very little impact made on the business.

See, I'd say that the ceo's secretary, and all employees, in fact, should support the products that their company makes. I've lived most of my life in Michigan, and that's the way it is for those people who manufacture cars, along with their friends and families.

I certainly can appreciate that the company's products might not suit every situation, but she's so often shown in the audience of fashion shows. Wouldn't it be terrific if she honored her husband by carrying his company's bags when she's photographed? If they weren't exactly to her liking, don't you think she'd be allowed to help design her own bag? Surely, he could manufacture a dozen bags for less than what it costs her to buy a single Birkin.

Perhaps this line of thinking makes no sense to you, but after seeing hundreds of photographs of her, I'm really sad that I've never seen her carry a Le Sportsac bag, even at cultural events sponsored by the company.

Well, I just took a look at Le Sport Sac's website and their products are a heck of a lot cheaper than Hermes, that's for darn sure!!! Given her age, I think Helen's carrying the more appropriate choice... these look like they are for teenagers!!

LeSportsac.....isn't that nylon or whats that stuff Prada makes some of their sports bags out of? Oh God, I can't think of the name.....

anyway.....when I think of LeSporsac I immediately think, College or High school students or beach bags. I'd better go take a look at the website before I say anything else.....

I think it would be nice if she showed her support for the company by carrying the bags sometimes. (Nice but not necessary as was said she's not the spokesperson. Maybe she does once in a while when a more casual bag is required? ) When I worked at Coach I know the managers had to carry Coach bags (to work at least). We have friends that work for Pepsi and won't eat in a restaurant that doesn't serve Pepsi. I guess different people show their support/love for their brand in different ways.
