The basics are that: this is a special Kelly offered by SAS Stephanie of Monaceo to benefit Fight AIDS Monaco. This piece was created especially for the Grace Kelly Exhibition held in Monaco in 2007. It is to be sold Monday, June 2, 2008. This Hermes bag is associated inalterably with the elegance [of Grace Kelly].

This "Kelly" purse in Epsom Blue Jean was given to SAS Princess Stephanie on the occasion of the "Grace Kelly Years" exhibition which was held at the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco in July of 2007. This unique piece, carrying the image of Princess Grace, marks a debut of worldwide repercussion (this sentence I'm not sure of). The technique of image imprintation is on toile of "Rhovyl classe m1" then applied onto Epsom skin.

The portrait of the princess is dated from 1954. The intention of the creation is to maintain the memory of the beauty, sweetness and class of a princess and her entry into a legendary life. Hermes, an ardent admirer of Grace Kelly, gives/creates this homage and continues to honor her with this souvenir.

I have only learned French through osmosis (DH is French), but I think it's pretty accurate...

I think you got the gist of it!

Is that Stephanie? she looks great! do you think she has had plastic surgery?
(and the bag is beautiful, too, although for personal use I wouldn't want to compete with a photo of Grace Kelly!)

Thank you, Candy!

Florasun, yes that's Stephanie in the pic. I too think she looks great (she's been working out for ages) but doubt she's had any work done to her face (it doesn't look that great up close - I guess years of smoking and tanning have finally caught up to her).

I don't think Stephanie looks happy here. I haven't seen her look happy for a very long time. It's a shame she always looked like such a happy child. I guess it's rather weird for her to be photographed with that bag.

ITA with you H_Addict. The ciggies and the sun haven't been kind to her.

I remember her from her gauche teenage years, and later looking something like this:

Although clearly not happy, she now at least has better hair!

I think her sister is stunning and oh so elegant..just like her mother. I think Stephanie is more of a wild child..

it does look like she had eye surgery, very nice of her to give the bag to charity

I think all that hard living finally caught up with her. Her older sister looks much better than she does. What a shame.
