I would never have thought they would be so gorgeous together... kelly and flip-flops!!!! In Singapore, this would have thought to be taboo... but honestly, I love that this looks so coool!

Did you take a modelling pic of yourself in this ensemble?? Wud love to see it and in any case, I'm sure it turned out gorgeous just as in that pic.... it's just that, in my mind, I would never have thought of putting them together!

I understand why this would be a taboo. Not because no one wears flip flops in SG but almost everyone wear flip flops all over the place all the time incl. high-end places.

Flip flops and shorts have become a staple among S'poreans which lead to many fashion insiders here shaking their heads and encouraging S'poreans to wear less flip flops and start putting on shoes.

that makes perfect sense the period here when people can use flip-flops is rather limited so I guess that is why it is more accepted...not saying it is accepted to go to dinner wearing them (I find that horrifying TBH). Personally I might wear some other pair of cool flats and Maharishi pants and a tee even if I were to go into "better" boutiques...although I am always in heels, lol!

Modelling pic of a model on duty, or someone on the street? If it's the latter, this is the epitome of 'Look at me, I am RICH!'.
