Yay for H_Addict- you are one of my favorite posters of beautiful photos of all things Hermes.

Thank you for reminding everyone about being nice, Megs. I personally have posted significantly less than I used to- although I still looks just as often- because of some unkind words from two other forum members calling me a troll or making fun of a little attempt at humor on my part

This is a great sub-forum, and I enjoy the chance to learn about Hermes.

I haven't experienced anything "unsavory" but I have felt the forum has become a little less friendly so a big thanks to Megs for the reminders.

How wonderful--another mod who can help spread the work around! Welcome, welcome!!!! I do love the comments about friendliness. I only joined this summer and I can remember well the warmth of the welcomes. I also remember reading a few (very few!) posts that felt sharper. Luckily they are in the minority but they can have a chilling effect on the discourse...not to mention the poor hearts of the newcomers. Thank you for the reminders about how we can sound...and the importance of making this a pleasant and collaborative place. Luckily I got past the few, um, scary (!) posts and brief dramas and discovered the fantastic personalities behind those posts. This can be a place where not only wonderful information is shared but also where great friendships are forged. Oh yes...and let us not forget the restorative moments of brief OT humor. Johnny Depp anyone?? Please H_Addict--do not take that away!

Jokes aside, the warmest welcome to our new mod, and the greatest thanks to our whole team. I am going to try to notice when a newcomer is posting and take a minute to say welcome.
